I played the euro version of this game and I'll give everyone a heads up. This game is raw! Try before you buy. I'm a big fan of open ended RPG's but this one is really hard to like.
Not only is the translation terrible but the human models are just plan bad! I mean, how do you have that many polys and still manage to look worse then the Quake 1 guy?
I have to admit the rock opera music is pure comedy GOLD!

I know Shadowrun and Halo1/2 are steaming piles of crap but LOL!
This is awesome news!.
MS lawyers are probably scrambling around yelling "Phone our guy at the White House!!! They can't DO this! We must build a lawsuit to end all lawsuits!"

Anyone that thinks this is a bad thing should be slapped. The more games that are made for different OS' the better. The lack of Mac/Linux games is one of the reasons MS could push out a turd like Vista and expect everyone to go "Yum!"

yup it got worse there have been several very recent incidents of GMs giving unfair favors to their friends. Since its a very competitive game and there is just one server it's pretty bad.

I get a phone call today and my bedroom phone is dead and I run down stairs to see me littlest one(7 years old) hangs up the down stairs phone.
Me: "Who was that?" Rug Rat: "I don't know but I think you might have a present" Me: "Oh really? from where?" Rug Rat: "I think from Africa" Me: "Africa!? Oreeaaaaly? Do you know who it was?" Rug Rat: "Nope." Me: "You just hung up the phone come ooon please tell me what you remember" Rug Rat "Uh well I'm not sure really what she said i think your getting a present from like, America" Me: "What?! You just said Africa! Ok, seriously this might be important! Was it a recording?" Rug Rat: "No it was a lady" Me: "No, did you actually have a conversation with her?" Rug Rat:"Ya she said you had a present" Me: "Did she mention Greyhound or the post office? Or maybe Loomis?" Rug Rag "I'm hungry can you get me some cheerios?!" Me: "ARRRRRRRRRRRGGGG!!!!!!!"
So apparently I have a package from somewhere but I have no clue where it is, where its from or what and its driving me NUTS!!!!
If you're thinking of having kids let me be a warning to you all!

Vista costs everyone |

don't get the Vista hate.
http://www.cs.auckland.ac.nz/~pgut001/pubs/vista_cost.html#d
DRM is not only about protecting digital media. Its about controlling everyone involved.
Vista includes various requirements for “robustness” in which the content industry, through “hardware robustness rules”, dictates design requirements to hardware manufacturers. The level of control that the content producers have over technical design details is nothing short of amazing. As security researcher Ed Felten quoted from Microsoft documents on his freedom-to-tinker web site about a year ago:
“The evidence [of security] must be presented to Hollywood and other content owners, and they must agree that it provides the required level of security. Written proof from at least three of the major Hollywood studios is required”.
So if you design a new security system, you can't get it supported in Windows Vista until well-known computer security experts like MGM, 20th Century-Fox, and Disney give you the go-ahead (this gives a whole new meaning to the term “Mickey-Mouse security”). It's absolutely astonishing to find paragraphs like this in what are supposed to be Windows technical documents, since it gives Hollywood studios veto rights over Windows security mechanisms.
The reason it takes so long to get any drivers on vista is because the amount of loop holes the manufactures have to go through to get there stuff approved. and if at ANY time your card is seen as violating the DRM rules it can be made to simply not work by the boys at MS. This add alot to the cost of new hardware and it gets passed onto you!

Well you guys may be right, but they're the ones that make the cash. Movie game might mostly suck but they sell. And by the time Joe Casual gets it home and says "Hey this sucks!", they have already made their money.
People have been cashing in on the stupid since the dawn of time! Why stop now?

you obviously haven't spent any quality time in Halo 2 multi player.
Actually I have played halo 2 and compared to a real FPS the chief moves like a overweight cow in pudding.

read that part in the link
http://shadowrun.com/backstage/controller_balancing.htm
So, what actually happened when we played our first cross-platform game? The controller players trounced the mouse/keyboard players. It wasn’t even close; the mouse players got stomped on. Over and over. So what happened? Did the mouse players just suck?
Wow what a bunch of HORSE SHIT!
If a games controls are made properly there will be no contest mouse and keyboard will win EVERY time unless you are missing part of your brain that controls motor function. Controllers are good if you want to move a tank around a battle field but who wants a FPS where the player moves like he's on his first morning jog at fat camp?
