Ah, so a game with controls designed for the PC can be ported without any loss, but the other way around and they must be making sacrifices! Some more grade A crazy right there. About as crazy as your assumption that you can no longer jump when you want to. How do you make this stuff up?

That's no excuse. If all platforms are being developed equally, then all control schemes should be given equal attention

It's not an issue of equal attention, if you had bothered to read what I had said. It's an issue of spending more time on something you have less experience doing. This isn't hard to follow, even for your insane views. As I am equally insane for expecting rationality here.

That, or they already know how to do PC controls, and are done considering all they've made so far is PC games. But that's probably too easy of an answer, and takes away a reason for people to scream about consoles. And we wouldn't want that, would we?

Mystery meat navigation for the lose.

Not what that term means at all. The whole purpose of the site is to explore, not to act as a source for updates, info, screenshots. There is no navigation, thus it can not be mystery meat.

I put nWo into wikipedia and I got pro wrestling. Did I do something wrong?

Hulk Hogan is VERY relevant to politics.

Why do you PC gamers act like when developers want to make money they are somehow commiting a crime? Why is making a game for console selling your soul to the devil?

My god...you people are children.

Was it the 7-time usage of "M$" that made you say that, or something else?

I can't play this on my 386 DX/66 with 2 MB of RAM?!

Wow, what is this, 1993? The rest of us have moved on to the 486DX. Have fun with no floating point.

Jesus H. Christ, you whiners are still going on about that?

I'm just impressed how far away a topic can be, and still be able to turn it into fawning about Valve.

Splash Damage has nothing to do with it

It's being developed by Endrant, made up of a few SD employees that left after ET:QW. http://endrantstudios.com/

Add a “hardcore mode” that will provide a new damage model where all weapons do much more damage to increase realism.

This is the trend that bothers me most about modern games. Realism == LET'S JUST CRANK UP THE WEAPON DAMAGE! CoD4 did the same thing, and then they call it hardcore? Ugh.

now its upload speeds and I'm sure next week it will be something else

Erm, it WAS upload speed for me. I couldn't play 4v4 or higher because the game was using more than 60KB/s up, which my awful connection currently can't handle.

What's so weird and bizarre about a family & friends beta? It's far from the first time I've heard it, and it's usually used before it reaches a more wider closed beta.

Once again, BN posters get angry about nothing.

There was the well-documented incident where they basically fired all of their senior employees and tried to hire back them at basically minimum wage. That's when it changed.

A standard Win7 install is ~16GB! Where did all of this bloat come from?

I've been running Win7 installed on my 4GB SSD. I don't know where this 16GB estimate came from.

I don't mind unlockables. I do mind when they affect gameplay. Unlocking stuff like character models, customizations, weapon skins, etc is fine and great, but I hate when it starts changing the game.

He bolds the word story because it is fake. It's an obviously over the top story in response to someone asking to elaborate. Come on now, is there any reason to believe it might be real?

It takes me about half an hour to actually get a game going. I have no NAT, and no router. I haven't tried the most recent update though, I played Thursday night.

It may be improving, but it's not at the level it should be for everyone.
