Don't know why, must have hit an untapped juvenile streak hidden in some recess of my mind, but that line just made me laugh as read aloud ("Eff You!") in my head That's how I felt when I typed it ....

Just read the Gamespot review of the first FU. *If* it worked on my PC, it sounds like a fun game, but their review ripped it for being such a crappy port.
If it's cheap maybe I can find a copy somewhere ...

SirKnight wrote on Oct 18, 2010, 12:24: Blue, you really should try the 3rd degree chips. They're not that hot. From what I gather, I think you can handle them with no problem. I find most foods/sauces/etc are blown out of proportion when it comes to the hot variety. It's rare to find something that really is as hot as the marketing claims. Plus, the Habanero chips are the best tasting ones, IMO ... |

Creston wrote on Oct 11, 2010, 11:57: All the schools around here are actually just open. They figure it's better to just go to school on this semi-holiday than to have to make the day up at the end of the year.
Creston The way it was explained to me: schools don't have Columbus Day off; instead they take the day after Thanksgiving off ... |

As a public school teacher, I get a couple of colds each year since I'm surrounded by lots of kids with lots of colds. I'm hoping the author's research is correct, because my immune system seems to be plenty healthy ...

Haven't had to turn on the heat yet, but I think it's coming this weekend. So far the re-insulation of the house a couple of years ago paid off big. House stays fairly warm until it gets close to freezing at night.
So far the thermo is still in the AC mode. Next it goes full auto(!) when it's warm in the day and cold at night. Heat only doesn't take effect until later next month.
As for those who freeze/fry in your car, have you ever heard of using the temp control? Most cars have them ....

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, Blue - - I was away all weekend and just found out.
I wish I could offer something to help, but I know that nothing really helps ... |

Any iPod Touch owners out there? I'm wondering if I should take the plunge now, or wait until fall when the 4th gen models are out.
Any comments or opinions? |

Odds are about 1-in-3 that mega-earthquake will hit Pacific Northwest in next 50 years. Thanks a lot, Blue. First, laid up with a cast on my foot for a month, now I read this. Happy happy joy joy.
Oh, and by the way my wife broke her ankle taking a beginning motorcycle course 3 days after I tore my Achilles tendon. So we're *both* in casts. We play rock-paper-scissors to see who has to get up and get the drinks .... |
