I thoroughly enjoyed Bioshock, it was just a shame that it did not have any replayability. I think a prequel would be great, I would love to be able to explore Rapture at the very peak of its prosperity then watch everything go to hell.
Would you kindly hurry it up already?

So does anyone out there know why the Seahawks ended up with a Sat. game instead of Sunday? Is there a formula for this, or does the NFL just make it up as they go along?

As somebody who only very recently got into consoles (Xbox 360 elite), I still find playing shooters on it the most aggravating thing in the world. I don't really even bother with straight FPS' anymore. I'll give them a rent just to play through and check them out (and yes, Halo 3 sucked any which way you slice it), but I'd never buy one.
A few years ago I obtained a mouse/kb controller for an Xbox (not 360) and played Halo 1 and 2 to see what all the fuss was about. Compared to quality FPS games, these games just weren't that much fun. HL1 or Far Cry could blow them away with quality of gameplay. Not only that, but I had to set up a table in the living room to put the mouse and kb on every time I wanted to play, which got annoying after awhile.
If MS ever designs something like a keyboard-mouse controller for whatever their new console will be (and they should), it should be something you could put in your lap.

Sounds like it's just a viral thing and not strep throat.
Sorry to hear about that, 'Hawk. My wife has had a viral issue with her throat for about 2 weeks now. Docs can't do anything. Said if it was bacterialogical they could kill it with antibiotics, but since it's viral ...

Most spam I receive goes into Verizon's "spam detector" folder, and therefore I get to enjoy a relatively spam free life, but I find I need to check the folder periodically, as about 1 legit email every three or four days gets sent to the spam folder. Still, with an average of about 80 spams per day, this isn't a bad ratio (less than 1% of "good" email gets routed to the spam detector).

One of the staff at my school has the nicest jeep I've ever seen. Looks like some CJ model, only has a longer wheelbase and is MUCH nicer ....
And no it's not a Cherokee/Compass/Liberty/etc. Definitely looks like a CJ, only nicer.

Great memories. I bought my first PC just so I could play DooM. Ordered it thru Gateway, and it was a P90 "screamer" with that 80 MB HD. Even ordered it with a whopping 8 MB of RAM just so DooM would play better, and it was still a slide show!
You also reminded me of all the tweaking that was necessary to play games like X-Wing. My friends and I spent hours on trying to get it all just right ....
I wish I would have saved all my original DooM floppies - - maybe they'd be worth something some day.
Edit: 80 MB HD, not 80 gig. They didn't even have a gig back then, I don't think ...
