2. Create mp3s from audio cd.
You are now unfucked.
Even though blank CDs are pretty cheap, I keep a couple of CD-RWs around just for this purpose.
Although I can't help but wonder if there's a faster/easier solution out there somewhere ...

hey, anyone know if bluetooth devices can be used on a plane? We're traveling and i'd like to bring my stereo bluetooth headphones but it seems to me that they may interfere with the plane landing on all 3 wheels
Unfortunately, you can't, as the airlines prohibit any device that makes any type of transmission whatsoever.
Why? Because they say it might interfere with communication and navigation. On which I call total bullshit. So in that spirit, I say do it anyway. Tell 'em they're noise cancelling headphones...

In all the years I've had DirecTV, I can count on one hand the times I've lost service due to thunderstorms. Like Enahs, I can't help but wonder if repositioning your dish would help. Also, if it's possible: my dish in on the second story of a split level house, underneath the eave of the roof; not so much that it's sightline is blocked, but it keeps the dish out of the weather, and therefore is dry and relatively clean.
Just throwing out some ideas, even if they're obvious ...

A few years ago my seasonal allergies were getting really bothersome, so my doc prescribed Allegra. 1 pill a day, voila', no more allergy problems. No side effects.
I would recommend Allegra (fexofenidine) to anyone who still has seasonal allergies ...
