Hey, least you're not a Skins fan!
Or an Eagles fan

Or a Seahawks fan. I'd put their level of suckage up against any other team ....

Wolf 09:
It was a pretty basic FPS shooter with a sorta Crysis Suite type thing (limited super powers). I mean, I enjoyed it. It was just going through killing stuff. Nothing special about the story. Nothing new as far as game-play. It looked good and ran well. It was just good basic fun. Very high quality for what it is. I am not at all disappointed with my purchase. Exactly what I expected.

Exactly how I felt. I don't need a game to be a be-all end-all to have fun ...

An off-topic comment, just to see the response:

Did anyone else out there play the new Wolfenstein game? Admittedly, it wasn't anything profound for the genre, but I had the most fun playing it since Half Life 2 and Bioshock. Just wondering ...

What's to stop a team that's trailing in the fourth, with a good punter, to just endlessly kick the ball into the video screen and eventually force a Dallas forfeit?"

I can't WAIT for someone to do that, just so we can watch Jerry's ridiculously stretched face finally explode.

Bwa-ha-ha-ha .... Thanks for the chuckle, Creston, it almost made me forget how bad my beloved Seahawks SUCKED today ....

The grout on our chimney has been degrading from weather and has been steadily falling off over the years, and the top couple of layers have (what appears to be) little grout left. I was considering having the work done to repair it all, but based on Blue's narrative I might just wait a couple more years. Or, at least, until the bricks start falling ...

24. Re: death of Jazz Aug 10, 2009, 19:51 banddirector

Every 5 to 10 years, you can always count on finding one or two "Jazz is dead" articles. As always, the rumor of it's demise has been greatly exaggerated.

There are plenty of jazz musicians today who are playing straight ahead jazz that the average listener could get into, if they wanted to.

Jazz is not a monolithic art form. There are all kinds of styles being played to suit a listener's taste.

With all of the instrumental musicians being cranked out of colleges like sausages, there will always be a market for Jazz, IMHO.

Good response. Much better than mine ...

Jazz used to be cool because it sounded cool. Too often now it just sounds weird.

Average folks like cool, not weird .....

Thanks for posting the link! My wife and I are true Disney nuts, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. But it's not Walt Disney World, it's Disneyland. More east coast bias.....

Let them fail. They were "the only game in town" until DirecTV came along, and they consistently "provided" crappy service and annual price hikes. It's amazing to see all the sat dishes on houses around here, and ALL of them are on houses that previously had cable. When it comes to customer satisfaction, Charter is beyond clueless ....
