We just received from EA of Europe a list of changes to be expected on upcoming Battlefield 1942 patch v1.3. The patch is not legally out, although already available from some other site. We're expecting an update from EA soon and we'll bring the patch up as soon as we can.

It's actually kind of entertaining. The graphics are pretty decent, but nothing special.
I'd describe it as a FPS on rails. You can only take one path. I don't think you can jump.
Definately not a first rate title though. Call me jaded, but, for example - any present or future FPS that doesn't have lights that you can shoot out (I don't care if the lighting is dynamic) makes me question where the developers have been the last 5 years.
Oh yeah. Please hire professional voice actors. The guy in the game telling you what to do is bad enough. But when the main character starts mumbling to himself and he sounds like a fat white computer geek (ie. developer) instead of an elite soldier..well, it just sort of throws me out of it.
Well, I said it was entertaining. Not worth my purchase though.

Is it a coincidence that I just graduated college, am leaving town, and will not be requiring the DirectTV DSL service anymore?
"DirectTV bought telocity (a dsl provider) and ran them into the ground. Too bad, $49 for a static IP and super reliable speeds."
yeah..I never once complained about my 30 ping to my clan's sof2 server.

What I am inferring from the news is that only the broadband service is stopping, not the satellite television service.

Zanzarah is a really cool game. I've been waiting for the North American release. Yeah, it's a little girlie, but it's pretty fun stuff. And the graphics and audio are really nice also.
Penny Arcade did a comic on it when the (german?) demo originally came out. That's how I learned about it.
and yeah..there's already a nude patch..heh

Hey, I just realized if you take the cards out of Solitare it would be teh suck. I'm never going to play Solitare again.
Actaully, funny story. During hurricane Lili I had no power (I live in Lafayette, Louisiana) and one of the things I did to pass the time was play Solitare. I told a friend this and he said, "How could you use your computer without electricity?" I couldn't stop laughing.

yeah this game sucks.
that why so many people are playing it.
i bought bf42 and i love it, right now though i'm focusing a little more on school. but once they improve level loading and a few other things i won't hesitate to jump right back in.
i dont know where you people have gotten a bad opinion of the game..the reviewrs love it, the gamers love it.
the only people that dont like it dont have the machine to run it...i guess ya'll have suck machines. i forgive you. get back to your saved game of solitare.

not only does it add weapon tweaks, it adds 2 new weapons and 4 new maps
but why the hell did they take away my throwing knives?

One of the things I dig about SWG is that in PvP you won't be able to tell what level the player is that you are attacking beforehand.
