Buy the game for $60 and get what should have been included for another $25.
$85 for the full version of the game, but you have to wait to get all the content, and yet people still support EA's practices of doing this.
Seriously? It's a map pack! It should be free.

Or you could stop buying EA products. Every time you purchase their product you reinforce their policies.

I'm speaking with my wallet too, don't own it, won't buy it.
Same with Watch Dogs because of the unnecessary DRM.

Has there been a data dump that people can check their passwords again?
There has sometimes been a "search" to see if you've been compromised.

I want to point out I'm not looking for a text list to go all "m@d haxx0r" on the interwebs....

Warden alternative?
I highly doubt it's a MMO name. Usually the names are more descriptive of the world in which the product is set. Like World of Dildos, Lord of Anal Beads, etc.
You work for Thrixxx don't you? LOL

20. Re: Wasteland 2 Linux Beta Next Week; Playthrough ~50 Hours Apr 10, 2014, 18:35 Nighthawk

I (regrettably) didn't back it, but I "pre-ordered" it on steam months ago.
Played the beta and did a stream (prior to the massive content that got rolled out last patch.
The game seemed good then, and the atmosphere was definitely on par.
I uninstalled it so I didn't ruin the story, so I'm looking forward to the release.

I was in the beta when it was GRO and couldn't stand it. It's semi tactical, but still very twitchy. I found the biggest problem was because of the 3rd person view, you could see someone while you were hiding and they were standing, then align your mouse, pop up to shoot and drop before they had a chance to react.
Made for a lot of camp fests

Overwatch sounds like a DRM system. Does "computer game software/program" cover DRM?

I was thinking Kerrigan was a sniper, right? Could this be a revamped Ghost?

Don't tease dude

I hope it's true, I want this to be decent, but I'll give it a shot if they pull off a reasonable F2P (right now I'm limiting myself to 1 sub at a time, and EVE Online has it).

There's the 2nd nail in the coffin of this game.
I've got hopes for them but my (limited) number of a reviews I've read seems this game is NOT being received well at all...
Now top that up to billing problems, this is going to tank faster than Old Republic

I remember it switching from Quakespy to Gamespy 3D and then the introduction of Arcade and the rest, and yearly subscription (vs the one time purchase).
They gave all of us classic members lifetime for GS3D, then discontinued it.
It's an end of an era but they did pull some pretty douche moves on their customers, so there won't be any tears shed.

Goodbye old friend

Yeah, cars before 2000 never got stolen broken into
Better? Same point.
It comes down to the same fear of thieves hacking someone's remote door opener, remember when they said it's possible to have a wide spectrum signal generator to unlock any car door?
It was proven too...and yet our cars stay locked as per normal.
Sure it's normal, but the people that CAN aren't the people that WILL.
A rock will open any car window, regardless of passwords, remote key fobs, or year manufactured.

So 15 days after the "ships ahoy" they've said the DLC is "almost done" and the sheeple are still buying and falling for this (essentially) day-0 DLC?

Looks like devs didn't finish their homework again and they catching up and will release the rest of the game modes later, in DLC format. That's rich.

Companies taking advantage of the "patching" system.

And generally speaking of DLC, why not make it so people can make DLC themselves and release it for free, like how it was in the 90s when people could make mods(such as Team Fortress) for Quake and release them for free.

I know someone else who probably didn't finish their homework!

Haha, so true.

I dont get it... Thinking2

They're called mods, and they're alive and well in a lot of games, just not....others.

I picked it up a few months ago and don't regret it at all.
I can't speak for how popular, but I haven't had problems finding a group.
Definitely a worthy purchase.

What happens to people that have purchased the games that are getting pulled from steam? Do they stay in account? Or do those disappear too?
