people should check out bittorrent, that program really has the chance to make places like file planet go out of bussiness.
When you download a file it doesnt matter if the source is too slow to handle the popular file, because you dont just download the file from the main source, you download it from everyone who is downloading the file at the same time.

If you want porn games, then you really have to go to Japan.
they have some really sick shit there.

as an aside, whats up with japan and germany both having lots of disgusting sex fetishes ( shit stuff), and both being allies in World War 2...

I liked it when freelancer came out with their exclusive file planet demo.
The full game was already out on the warez sites, so there was no need to pay money to fileplanet. Everyone won.
well, except for the stupid developers/publisher and fileplanet.

I dont know abou micrsoft, but I have logitech one and if the game doesnt let you bind the buttons, you can use the logitech software to bind the mouse butons to keys, like f12 or somthing you normally dont reach.

The worst thing about the 25 minute demo was the comments in it, by the peole watching. Those guys would have had to try pretty hard to sound MORE like dorks with no lives.

It seems that nvidia is trying to copy 3dfx's winning strategies.

Remember when the voodoo3 were starting to get beaten badly by Nvidia cards, 3dfx released their new cards that were not that much better but were HUGE physically. now Nvidia has their double PCI slot sized Geforce FX's....

If you dont want web pages fucking with your browser settings you should use a real web browser.
for example Phoenix, or now Firebird, they are builds of Mozilla.

Every single ie key shortcut works in them, and they are much better.
In the options menu you have the ability to turn off the "feature" that lets www sites resize, and other wise screw with your settings. But you dont have to disable everything, you can just turn off the crap that pisses you off.

It also blocks un called for popups automatically by default.

If they bother you so much you could just get a banner blocker.
or if thats too complicated you could just turn off image loading, because you dont really need that for the news.

"So... in conclusion... this is a good thing."
Unless they go crazy with it like some other countries have.
In some places you can not even show the "banned" games on the shelfs, so then these games dont get very many sales, because people cant browse them, so then game companies have to censor themselves if they want to stay in bussiness.
like how the vietcong US release is censored but the UK version is fine. because US stores force them to.

hey, dont complain about having to buy a dvd drive if you dont already have one.

How much does a dvd drive cost now? less than the game for sure. So thats about one tenth the price of the video card needed to run the game?

They should use this as a test!

They could just release two versions.
6 CD version and DVD version, and just label them well.
The movie industry seeems to do fine with tv version and wide screen versions of their dvds...

Thank you for for this observation.
