MoldMaker: So I ask which UN resolutions Israel has 'broken'

they havent broken any, but thats only because of two facts: One; the USA has veto power(meaning usa can delete any resolution they dont like)
Two; the USA is Israel's bitch.

but why should people care if its instanced or not?
In most of the newwer mmogs it seems that you just get a small group and go level grind, ignoring all other people, except when in a city.
thats my opinion anyways, from watching friends play them.

Halsy: I think you've been riding that short bus.

The original creator or CS has had NOTHING to do with condition zero or even any of the steam [steaming crap] released versions of CS.
He is now getting paid to make cs2 for hl2.

so, with this game and all the jedi fpses having you lose all your powers at the start, do you think that having the force damages your brain?
I dont know about you guys, but if I could grab stuff just by thinking it, I wouldn't be forgetting that any time soon.
And maybe this could explain yoda's grasp of the language.
He learns it, but then just a little while later, its gone.

They probably are just focused on all the stupid people buying characters over Ebay.
None of that money goes to them, but with this setup instead of a person selling an account with multiple 50 level characters for one sum of money, none of which goes to the company, the suckers can now just sell one character at a time, and pay the company 40 dollars.

What i want to know is why the netcode seems to get worse for the newer games.
It seems they should have learned from previous games.
I mean quake1/qw even had support for 32 players and it waa OK.

Whats so special about newwer games? I mean it would still be the same amount of data that needs to be sent,
They only need to know the player info, the server shouldnt track shell cassings or waving grass, stuff like that just just be done on the client side.

I still liked it better than splinter cell.
thing that pissed me off the most about splinter cell was that the guys accuracy was crap, and even if you did manage to hit a guard in the head with a bullet, it would take more than one.
I mean wtf? I wish I could take multiple bullets in the head.

Cutedge: I wouldn't be suprised if Valve puts out TF2 for HL2 later, much like how they released TF1 about 3 months (?) after HL1 came out.
Sweet zombie jesus!

That wasnt TF1, that was TFC. the C stands for CLASSIC.
They released that because TF2 was going to be delayed for a few months.

TF1 was a mode for quake 1.

Try reading the EULA sometime
Many lawyers say that you are actually better off never reading the EULA's, just click though as quickly as possible, or automate it so you dont even glimpse it.

Some of these people here can never be convinced. These are the same people who would think nothing is wrong with the government wiretapping everyone, just because "if you arn't guilty then you have nothing to hide"

xactly you dont have a fucking clue cus you are an idiot jumping to assumptions.

Its a pretty damn easy assumption to jump to, because the CRACK DOES NOT CARE WHAT OTHER PROGRAMS YOU ARE RUNNING.
the game works, and dont have to shut down system tasks.

This brings up the real question, of what the hell these publishers are thinking? The easiest thing you could do is just download it from suprnova.org, you would have the game in less time than it took to go to the store and then you never have to deal with overly restrictive copy protection.

All this is doing is punishing people who paid money.

also, about installers telling you to shut down virus scanners and such. Those are just warnings, you can ignore them and the game still installs.

Deveus: software. You can solve the conflict by turning off one of the programs that is causing the conflict. You're not actively using the Virtual Drive software while you run the game, so the choice should be easy.

Or you could stop being an ignorant fuck and just download a no-cd crack, then it would work. And as a bonus it would probably increase the performance.

maybe the next version of safedisc or securerom can browse your internet history, and if you've been to a crack site it can stop the game from working and then report you to the FBI.
They can say its in the interest of serving the customer better.

also, if you are in the USA then using a crack for a game that you purchased can send you straight to jail, thanks to your DMCA

or instead of removing applications you might need for other stuff, you could just go to a warez site and get the no-cd crack.

Howabout valve thinking their game is so godly, they want you to be online to authenticate every time you play! Now thats one big steaming pile of BS!

well, its the logical conclusion of the perverted thinking of these game publishers (ie that all their customers are crooks)

It still wont work though.

80. Re: Cant decide Apr 8, 2004, 11:05 anon@24.76

This is the first time I've seen these HL2 movies. I was more impressed by the AI on one particular movie where Gordon pushed the table infront of the door so the soldier started shooting thru the window and then blew the door open. I haven't read anywhere about the physics being totally scripted or not but to me a lot of it looked scripted.

well, you would be right if you thought it was all scripted, because it was.

If you used cheats to give yourself a weapon, then quickly went outside and killed the soldier, all the scripted stuff would still happen(door kick open, yelled commands, ect...)
