$250 for 4gb 360? Yeesh, gag me.
$30 for a DLC ...membership? WTF!? Pay for a discount!? Reaching new levels of douche in the industry. Epic. Very Epic.
Forza sucks but only because the 360 has fuck all for driving apparatus'. Unless you prefer a weak and shitty experience. I still remember the first Forza, with it's intolerable excuse for gear shifting. Honestly, I've never wanted to slap a designer so hard in my entire life. |

Maybe... and maybe he's just being realistic.
I mean honestly, why make a game your studio isn't excited about when so many folks are playing a mod for a decades old game? A company that is like sixty percent mod groups?
Plus, they basically print money using Steam, so they don't have to even consider the monetary aspect of the game.
They've said it time and again: They develop something, try it, if it works: great! If not, it's axed/scrapped, despite however much time and resources are invested in it. Back to the drawing board.
entr0py wrote on Aug 30, 2011, 02:35: If they're pretending not to think about how they'll make money off their games before they go on sale, that's ridiculous. Sure they think of additional ways of "monetizing" their games after the fact, like premium hats, but they always have a business plan in mind.
Post hoc ways of squeezing customers are just gravy. |

I truly hope Bioshock: Escort er.. Infinite turns out well. As it stands, it looks cool in some respects, but questionable in others. Yes, I'm keeping my opinion quite general for now. |

Satan Your stock broker called, he says your EA stocks are doing well.

Yeah 'plausibility' wasn't something I was too concerned with. Besides, given there were lean controls in the options in the beta, I always wondered why they didn't completely implement it.
That aside, I think your call on the SDK would be a wonderful (tho implausible ) reality.
Jerykk wrote on Aug 30, 2011, 02:22:
And reinstates leaning, and darkness cover? Those would be nice as well. Much harder to implement, though. On the other hand, disabling the radar would be about as difficult as disabling the reticule or the objective markers or the object highlighting. Much more plausible in a patch. |

I played through the game on 'hard' with zero contact with any body who didn't need to be 'neutralized' as per the objectives. I was surprised when on my next playthrough, I was getting Ghost even though I was knocking people out. |

Wtf is wrong with developers. Square keeps Tongs story for special edition preorders. Ubi keeps whatever the bonus mission is, for special edition preorders.
Get fucked. Ninety dollars? Who are they kidding? I will not pay a hundred fucking dollars (after taxes) for ANY game. I recently bought Brotherhood, after waiting months just to pick it up used. Even still, I actually got it new, for thirty five bucks.
I finished DX:HR and it's awesome, but frankly, with that missing Tong story, I do feel like I got fucked over all the same.
I fucking hate the direction this industry has taken. |

omigod, I did totally forget about emp grenades! They knocked out turrets, dispensers, and other players grenades. So if you got caught in the blast while carrying any grenades, you became the fourth of July on legs. If friendly fire was on, this could be disastrous for your team and score (especially if you were a demoman on defense).
'nade spam was always a risk, but honestly, all the varied game play opportunities were nothing short of brilliant! I'll take the occasional 'all out' dispersal, or suicide bomber, over a complete castration of a strategic element. |
