Um... Ritual proved themselves right-of-the-bat with the greatest sp Quake gaming ever produced.

This was a great game except for the fact it only gave me 30 hours of fun gaming instead of like, 100 hours. Boy was that a big setback.

Yep. Been waiting for this one a long time myself.

...edit: and thanks Mr. Chinaman. Just played it for a couple hours... she's still a great game.

unless you are left-handed... and the left hand is on the mouse. So not the best setup for 'any' user.

spoiled... spoiled so by high-profile 30 man development companies that we cannot enjoy a rough but impressive beta demo of a game by such a small company? Sheesh.

Chaser is much, MUCH worse... actually 'worse' is not the correct word to compare the two. But that's my O.

51. Hmmm.. May 23, 2003, 20:56 Stolk

Maybe all of you guys comments lowered my expectations.. but I enjoyed it quite a lot. Yep, the AI needs some work as my squad got stuck early on and never caught up (I had fun without'em). Yep, the voice acting of the tutorial guy is awful (they'll be best off just using text). Lack of mouse in the menus seem a bit ancient. And Yep, the bobbing was a bit much. BUT, I put all of that behind me and ended up liking it. Nice mix of sniping and gunning in an open environment... and that's just a small part of the full game. I look forward to it. Hopefully it'll be more polished.

99. Re: Ok. May 16, 2003, 18:02 Stolk

Dude, relax. Who cares how the topic started... some game developers should read through these comments before making some hellish decision for save functionality in their product. OpFlash? Ick. Tons of console games? shudder... AvP WITH update? Shoot me now, please.

Although, yeah, it does seem a bit silly to me. But it doesn't, like, piss me off and such.

75. Jeez. May 16, 2003, 01:51 Stolk

These comments have been quite humorous. The game is not even done yet. Man, imagine criticizing Pacman for ideas that may have come up through the development of that game... let the folks finish the game to see what their final ideas are. It's possible to actually see a form of saving we never even thought of...
