You're not the only one. Despite the awful voice acting, I liked the demo as well. I never had Microsoft Bob on my machine, but I did finally get Halo yesterday. It's fun! I'm pleasantly suprised by the multiplayer as I stayed up a bit late after I thought I was just 'trying it out'.

This newest delay only seems to be for the German release... right? Frans?
I think Blue just gets a kick posting all of the Breed delays. Can't wait!

"people are impatient..."
"looks like you nailed that one, danny boy"
It's got nothing to do with patience. Patience doesn't come into play when you're talking 10 to 15 seconds. It's just annoying. Jeez. Everybody's lookin' for the zinger.

Loads of splash screens that cannot be skipped ranks high on the crap list. There's one. There are some major issues with their pricing of add-ons, but that can be attributed to some people willing to pay anything. But get rid of those splashes and they'd be fine with me.

Jennerstein, I'm left-handed and know exactly what you are talking about. These days the first time I load a new game, I'm almost waiting for the menus to come up to see if my primary button is going to work properly.
Game devs, ARE YOU READING THIS?
And to the guy who mentioned a standard for this stuff, that is a wonderful idea. I don't think some people here quite understood. How cool would it be to start a new game and have the ability to import key bindings from an external file? BOOM! Done.

My 2 issues are lack of support for mouse buttons 4 and 5 and not supporting the primary mouse button being the right button instead of the left button. I amazes me that games keep coming out with these problems.
Edit: not referring to bf1942, but referring to games in general.

"why not?
half life sodomized me against my will and beat me until i performed fellatio on it
half life stole my innocence"
You're right. In that sense, it sounds pretty damn good. Which of course is my point.

Hmmm. Interesting. It seems that if Valve, rather than calling their contect delivery technology Steam, instead gave it no name and called it part of a half life update, you guys would have nothing to go off on. Everywhere you see Steam in this thread, replace it with half life. Wouldn't quite fly.

"LLL could stand for Leisure suit Larry Laffer - I think that was Larry's full name."
Ah, that's right. That was his name, wasn't it. Man, memories of playing that game on my old 286 pc with a 'shades of grey' monitor. I never saw it in full color. Very cool game.

I guess I may not have a lot to add here, because it is perfectly fine for me. The only important thing to me on Blue's is the news, of which it takes less than a second to scroll to and begin reading.
...ok, so the dead space does look a bit strange.
