I agree. In pure gameplay, Halo is the best shooter I've played in quite some time. Far Cry and Freedom Fighters being only slightly behind.

And of course you should. I will ask that you remember what I said if you ever find yourself over-affiliated to one political party.

"You spawn as a building in MP? Thats just wrong."
That's just funny. Imagine the excitement of hours of watching other players and how they use you as concealment.

A critical part of my post was '99%'. That number may be a bit low. While the idea of staying informed makes sense, that number cannot be ignored. I still say, and will spell correctly, that it's poison. It's the 2-party system. It produces simple one-sided thinking and makes 'staying informed' too easy. By avoiding it, you prohibit these simple dumbed down thoughts from reaching you brain first, before actual thinking could produce much more complex thoughts. In no way am I saying avoid 'government', rather the mess that politicians (and voters) have layered on top of it. This comment was edited on Mar 30, 15:11. |

"Please tell me what you mean. I am curious."
Look at 99% of the people that routinely follow and argue political issues (again, rather than independently forming actual beliefs without knowledge of the issue). Isn't interesting how these arguments are split down party line, each and every time? Then stand back and listen to the arguments. Do they sound like they spent actual work and time forming their own beliefs, or worked backwards, and formed those beliefs off political views they already sided with? I'm just saying it could be a good thing to avoid that for awhile.

Quote: "As for the "keep your mind out of politics"... yes, we'll just let those in power do the thinking for us. Just vote the way the commercials tell you (or not at all!) and everything will be alright... And remember- "Ignorance is strength!" x_x"
Perfect... you're comparison confirms my comments. Keeping your mind IN politics helps those attempting to do your thinking for you. Avoid it and form your own beliefs, rather than forming beliefs based on political views. Trust me; spend some time away from it. It'll be good for you.

"Yet another assault by the Bush junta on peoples civil liberties (i.e. privacy). What a wonderful time in America's history. Almost as good as when McCarthy was doing his things. Ahhh, the land of the free."
You do realize this bill is by a repub and democrat in congress, right?

"seek penalties of fines and prison time of up to ten years for file sharing."
These guys in congress must have no idea how funny this sounds.

"simply go into your computer's audio hardware accleration and turn it down one notch..."
I have Nforce audio, I have the problem, and Jesus, I've tried every notch available...and unfortunately this change doesn't help. Many specific sounds just completely go silent. At least I can hear myself walking.

"50 other game developers had the same idea and already released/in the works."
Oh, come on now. Although many of these war games have been good, most certainly haven't reached the reality that they were going for or advertised as. Most of them I just feel like I'm being pulled around by a dog collar. OpFlash is the only game I've played that somewhat achieved this.

I have the same card and I had crashes to the desktop and some god awful sound problems, but doubt either have anything to do with the video card.
