Single player was a good game too, pretty cgi's and smart charlies. Nothing like it as for fast paced combat action. Solved it a couple times now and its the best bet when your home on break with no broadband.

Good to hear that. I like both portions of this game SP and MP it's been a long time since there was something this challenging in single player and the multi is to die for (pun intended).

Great Game |

First, I'd give it 4.5 of 5. Someone on one of those sites blues lists just gave it that so I think giving 1/2 stars is ok? Yeah I didn't like the stealth mission either. That didn't stop me from loving this game there was only one of them that I remember. Overall the combat action was the best I've ever seen and the teammate actions of your marine squad was priceless. It immersed me in the area and the story was good. The graphics of ghoul were amazing as you could see guys falling over railings. Even making them vomit from a gunshot wound!

It works d00d. I tried it last night and when I'd crouch in a grass area they blabber something in spanish then run looking for me. I think you have to be in it though to work not just near but OK. He found me once and went into the grass I was in but most times it was nice and was enough for me to get away. Cool before you had to prone belly crawl around to even try and hide now you can crouch and shoot.

Gore? Why bother the quake code is free now anyway might as well play that and have the same result, too easy and nothing new. On the other hand- nice sof2 review. I agree about the RMG and the fact that it rocks in multi goes without saying but also the rmg singleplayer is fun to try and get the medals and high scores.

I love it when people use cheats and essentialy turn off gameplay, and then complain that there is no gameplay. This one is only slightly less hilarious than the "I go into god mode so I can get a feel for the enemies and they just don't seem interesting". It's kind of like looking at the master film negatives and the models for "empire strikes back" and saying: "hey! This whole thing is crap, it's just tricks using photochemistry and look at this, I can pick up the millenium falcon with two hands and smash it. This isn't real, this movie must be crap!"

#23: yeah no kidding. Anyone who can rip on a game that has all positive reviews and mostly positive board comments has some other agenda. All the complaints are bogus anyway.

Yeah I agree with psychochicken, this game is an adrenaline rush and it's alot of fun. The claims of m19 look bogus because I've also been following the reviews and they are all very positive so I don't know where he gets his info. I've seen a couple 90% reviews and only one as low as 83%. Even the low one goes on about the positive things like the jungle level and how great the enemy AI felt in combat. Also I've never had a single instance of shooting and not being shot at back and I've never read any complaint someone had that. In fact the largest complaint is that the enemies are very hard due to their smarts. Which I'd personally rather have this challenge. Also who cares about stealth it's only forced in one level and an option in a couple others.
I could go on and on about the cool things I've seen but I already did in other posts. These opinions come from finishing sof2 not from reading boards.

How do you get past the hotel level? These guys keep throwing smoke nades at me and coming up behind me. This AI is so real it makes me scared! True I'm playing on the difficult setting, but this is so kewl I can actually get in real gunfights.
By the looks of the complaints, these couple anon@ posters haven't even played the real game. This is a fun FPS, well above par. If 5+ real reviewers like the AI, then something is right!
