This lawsuit can only be bad for us. Yes, I guarantee this will affect everyone. Worst case scenario: companies start making their players extra quiet to avoid liability and you'll have to buy headphones with volume control to get an extra boost.

Though for bike riding nothing beats a cheap $50 US 256-512 MB small MP3 player. If you drop it, sure you will go “damn it” but really….it is not that big of a loss.
Well I obtained a 512mb ipod shuffle from the bank for free but I found that the thing is a piece of shit. Too small, terrible, horrible, wretched, seemingly made by programming students software (i mean itunes of course), no dispaly screen. I really liked this player because I couldn't even fill the thing. I was just starting to get used to the touch pad and I enjoyed syncing songs using the right mouse button context menu through Windows. I didn't mind the heaviness too much because I just zipped it up into an inside jacket pocket.
I was just looking a few things up before leaving for work... apparently I can return it to the store before 30 days which is going to be by the 25th. I can also ship it at my own expense to Creative to have it fixed (MY OWN EXPENSE WTF!?). Now the trick will be becoming unlazy to bike the distance to the local Futureshop in the suburbs. I'm just glad I kept the box or I'd be shit out of luck. I have a whole closet full of empty boxes for electronics hhaha.
Man, I really don't want to have to trade it in for another mp3 player since I got this player for a steal during the boxing day sale.

20 GB Hard drive. Lasted a few days short of a month. I turned it on for my bike ride to class and it is now sitting here frozen still. My only hope is when it runs out of batteries and I turn it back on and it works fine... but do I really want to keep it after that?

I watch SG1 here and there but I've just been getting interested in it recently because it seems to me to have been getting good. I really like the Auri (Ori? Who knows?) and I'm curious to see how they plan on fighting them. I didn't mind when it turned into Fargate. I couldn't get into Farscape but I prefer seeing that actress in the show than the actress who plays Carter. I really don't think they need RDA at all.

I just finished watching the last 2 newest episodes of Battlestar Galactica... WOW! I find my arms and hands tired and numb from all the fidgeting I was doing through the fucking suspense! I can't wait to see how this plays out in the next episode. 
Command went to the Pegasus XO but wtf is going to go on with the Pegasus now? I have a feeling it gets blown up in the next episode or 2 since the show isn't called Battlestar Pegasus. :(

i don't think it's fine the way it is... it is adquate but i would really like it redesigned somehow so it doesn't strain my hands in games where you need to use the shoulder buttons a lot (mario kart is a real hand strainer).
unfortunately i dont want to pay for it
