GT5 and GT6 had much better dirt/gravel physics anyways...
Glad to hear this. Been playing GT6 for the last 2 weeks and have not yet tried out the offroad tracks/cars. I just recently discovered I can plug my Logitech wheel into my PS3 (completely gobsmacked, I really should have gotten the PS3 a long time ago). Have not enjoyed a racing game this much since GTR. Just wishing the graphics were a little better.

I just cannot get into drifting. It completely ruins driving games for me. It looks cool watching it on TV but I'd much rather get from A to B quickly than worry about random style points. So yes, if they could bring it down to RBR, Rally Trophy, and good ole Colin McRae I'd be happily amused.

Thief is all about sneaking, whereas Dishonored also takes from the Deus Ex philosophy of multiple playstyles.

Yeh, you do need to be more of a backstabbing bastard in Thief, and that's the way I am playing Deus Ex HR right now. Sneaking around and knocking everybody unconscious if I can. Dishonored gives you some powerful offensive options but you can get through it in a similar fashion.

I agree about the similarities in the story, making both games about an armed antihero in a steampunk dystopia doesn't really leave a lot of room for innovation. Next we'll have Garrett as a pirate and all hell will break loose.

As far as this game being similar to Dishonored is concerned, of course it is. This is the game that Dishonored is based on. I'm just hoping the story for this game is better than whatever the hell was going on in that trailer.

Hold on there old hoss. It's for members of the LGBT community, which means you are treated with respect regardless of your sexual preference or identity. So unpaid overtime regardless of what happens in your bedroom.

Am I the only one who finds putting "in association with xxx" into the title of each award to be really annoying? Took me a moment to realize that "Most wanted in association with Playfire" means this is the award for the game they are most looking forward to.

You can still check email, surf the internet, or play World of Warcraft, the only restriction is you can't win more than 10$ playing games. At least, that's what I get from the article. First I've heard of a cyber cafe being used as a casino, which is something I certainly wouldn't want.

Wanting to hear more about the Radeon problems before I pick this up. I'm just running a lowly 6970, but that has been more than enough to run anything that's come out this year. Frijoles, have you tried running it in DX9 mode?

I really don't remember this game being co-op. Is that a misprint? I would love to do the campaign over again with a friend.

In order to race effectively, you MUST learn the track. This whole switching track thing is a big turnoff.

I cannot believe this is being touted as a feature. Albeit, the original Grid was never much of a sim, more of an arcade game. Still, they could have just repainted that game with better graphics and I would have been happy. Grid 2 just keeps taking away features that I want in a racing game.

Are these mods useable on the co-op game? My gf and I absolutely loved this game and just finished the main quest a few weeks ago. My main complaint would be repairing and upgrading a weapon until it's awesome, only to have it frigging disappear from your inventory suddenly in the middle of a battle.

"Honey, did you see my electric machete?"

I really think he's going for an iOS game more than anything else here, thus the wacky premise. I liked his last Alice game, a shame he can't do something similar, just away from Lewis Carroll. Wondering what sort of control China would exert upon him in terms of content for his games. Although, with several other companies here making games it's possible they operate free of "moral oversight" or censorship.

I wanted to see some amazing "John Woo 1990s" inspired action sequences but all I got was "he shaved his head and left his beard". What the fuck is that about? Not impressed, pick it up Rockstar!

That happens to me in Q3 occasionally. Just means you need to do the update manually by downloading from PB's website.
I wish it were that easy. I've been playing BF2 for the last week and it took me about 3 days to finally figure out that with Win7 64 you had to manually install PB using the "as administrator" option. The version included with BF2 (2005, so not too surprising) would not load, updating PB did not work, and it was only after searching through a bunch of punkbustra.exe errors that I was able to figure out you had to download pbsvc.exe, not pbsetup.exe. The forums at PB themselves were no help at all. After all this is done, I STILL see people using artillery hacks etcetera ad nauseum. So it doesn't work AND it's a pain in the ass to use.

That was insane. It's incredibly obvious that the controls in that demo were nothing more than "Press A to win". The whole time I was wondering WTF was happening. That is not what I'm looking for from a Bioshock game.

Years ago I saw better framerate performance in games with a soundcard compared to using the sound attached to my motherboard. Wondering if this still applies today? I'd love to see some comparisons.

Actually it's pretty good in single player. Same as the last one though, the annoying AI gets ridiculous with the better cars. I finally got frustrated driving against the GT1 cars on Nurburgring and reloaded GTR Evo. The AI and physics make much more sense in that game.
