Well, I watched Spidey 2 last night. And although it was a good movie, I couldn't help but use the words "a whole lot of cheese" to describe it. Too many corny scenes. I know they were trying to comic bookish but it wound up being very cheesy in many parts... some you could laugh off and say I can't believe this is so cheesy. Others you just hung your head in shame and say I can't believe this is so cheesy... a whole lot of cheese.

Have 8:00 tickets this evening.  Had to buy them three days ago. Needless to say, I'm looking forward to this one as I've bypassed dodgeball, The Terminal, and around the world in 80 days so far to see this(money issues).

Actually for $200 a year we have about 5 mexicans jump out of a truck averaging once a month (bi-weekly in the spring and early summer and a lot less often in the winter) they're done in less than 10 minutes. They mow and edge and take the grass with them. Definitely very little hassle.

I wish I could play it. Upon launching the game, it actually resizes my hardware monitor settings and locks up the computer. I have to go into the monitor settings (on the monitor not the PC) and resetup my display. I can't see a fix for this anywhere. I have an ATI Radeon 9000.

I guess I'm just getting older and have less time for games that have a steep learning curve. I gave this game about 20 minutes into the tutorial of the demo and it was so awkward feeling I gave it up. I'm a lover of RTS, but I just don't have the time to learn a difficult control scheme.

I'm about equal with Ghandi, a liberal leftist... hmm.. maybe that's why I have such a problem with the US way of doing things after living in the UK for so long and also why I have a lot of problems with Bush & Kerry and their lack of even remotely stating their important beliefs and policies to base a vote on.

Sorry for the political talk, but these are the only message boards I browse on the web. So, I was sitting here wondering if anyone else is having the same dilemma I was...
I dislike Bush and would vote for anyone else for presidency to get him out of office, the problem is that I dislike Kerry to. If I vote for an independant then I risk Bush staying in office which I definitely don't want, but if I vote Kerry I'm voting for someone who really hasn't shown me any great "Presidential" qualities.
The current US population is 291,500,000. Out of this I'm guessing there are at least 20 billion people that are of age to run for president and are not yet to physically ill for the job. Now out of 20 billion people how come we're left with just two arseholes for the choice of president? Man, I hate the party system.

OK, I haven't been following Tribes:Vengeance that much as I never really tried the first two, but this movie makes me think I'll be buying this! The voice acting is very noteworthy though. It really seemed quite cinematic.

Actually, I tried worms 3d. My wife even sat down with me to try it since she loved worms and that was one of the only PC games she would sit down and play. Unfortunately we never made it through the tutorial. The camera controls took all the fun out of the game and my wife bored of it before we even finished the tutorial. I've never managed to get her to sit down and take another look at it.
Once again, proof that good graphics does not make a good game.

Actually I'm just getting around to playing this game the first time through. I gave up on it before the jedi stage previously, but tried it again and am really loving it.
CGW has a nice preview of the game and the story... the only thing I didn't like about the preview is that they had a spoiler about the first game... <hidden text> They kept mentioning that Revak is alive????s}

Does anyone else not like the user interface for EE2?? Why put the most important information at the very bottom of the screen so that you have to unfocus your attention on the game to see how much wood you have???

Could warez downloading actually be good for the gaming community?
I have have in the past given warez copies of games or installed games I have bought on many friends computer. <note, if are the privacy police then this is just fiction>. These are games they would never would have bought, but have loved playing. They were not into PC gaming at all until I got them a few quality games loaded up. Now they go out and purchase 3-5 games a year due to their new interest.

I actually went back and played it... I don't know if there was another good game that took away from this at the time of release, but I eventually played it and couldn't stay away from it until I beat it... it was actually very fun.
