Kinda off topic but from this announcement "Xbox OneŽ, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft" and from Capcom's Strider announcement "Xbox OneŽ, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft".

Has nobody told microsft yet that advertising yourself as 'an all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft' will turn consumers off in droves? This is like Philip's CDI all over again.

Any more then the years of Sony calling the Playstation a computer?

We are all hesitant to change. No denying it.

But Microsoft could have embraced that and tried to convince us to change rather than force us. We hate change. Steam wasn't much loved at first.

It is now. We do change, reluctantly and slowly often, but we do. Had Microsoft let us change at our own pace...
They screwed up a lot here. No need to blame the public, blame the mishandling of the public.

Did I like Steam when it was originally suppose to be some sort of internet speed thing? No I didn't care.
Did I like Steam when it became a frontend for Valve games? Nope
Did I like Steam when games finally were released on it regularly? Hmm... this could be interesting.
Did I like Steam during it's first sale? OH HELL YEAH BABY, TAKE MAH MONEY!

Now let's move on to Origin..... I use it out of a necessity to play the games I like, not because I enjoy using it.

Happy Birthday Cutter, you can have the free sample of Viagra I got at the doctor's officer on my last visit (it's missing one, but dear lord I could drive steel through titanium that night!).

But look on the bright side.... Sony could have just as easily said the same thing at their E3 conference. Being a day after Microsoft's they could have sold you the same shit Microsoft was offering, AT a 100 bucks cheaper.
It just worked out in our favor that Sony decided to play Superhero, instead of just being slightly less dick'ish then Microsoft.

I dunno, if you could make a Zombie MMO, in the vein of Star Wars Galaxies (player made and run towns), Mad Max/Interstate 76, and throw in some Zombieland humor....

There's a cheap solution for the dishwasher problem, do them by hand. I've never had a dishwasher. I really don't understand the need for one unless you've got maybe 4+ people in your household.

I rented a house in Florida for a year with no dishwasher. I will NEVER take a dishwasher for granted. EVER.

Some good news, It's not a TUMOR! Well... at least not cancer that I know of. All my blood work came back normal (at least normal blood work), and urine sample came back normal as well. I have a visit with a GI doctor monday, and a fatigue doc as well. Having to force myself to eat extra meals to keep weight on is becoming annoying and expensive.

How do you market the Xbox and PS4? I thought it was fairly obvious. 'HOLY SHIT WE HAVE MORE RAM TO MAKE SHIT LOOK BETTER!'

No?

House had some real zingers over the years that I'm surprised passed the network censors. It was a great show that should have never gone on after 3-4 seasons.

Orson Scott Card just never knows when to shut his big mouth. It reminds me of Dan Simmons whose work I love but his beliefs are batshit insane.

Grats on losing weight Elf, 30 pounds is a lot to drop in less than 2 months, that's quite the accomplishment. Are you doing any lifting? Might help out with any loose skin or etc.

That's sorta the thing, I did nothing but eat the same food offered up weekly in the Casino's Employee Cafeteria. Business has increased about 2 fold since we opened in March, so figured it was from being busy at work lugging around tons of beer and booze all day. Hell the last time I weighed 205 was when I was 24-25. Really noticed an issue when I would stand up and get extremely light headed (which I had read about actors like Toby McGuire had when they had lost alot of weight for a role). Then again when I was 19 and weighed 190lbs (I'm 6'3 and have a large frame) my family was ready to have an intervention cause they thought I was doing drug due to being so thin.
But the weight loss and the doctor mentioning that I looked pale isn't a good thing, as I had a boss with the same issues a few years ago.

Since we are having a medically based OftB, I might as well add to it.

Went in yesterday to the doctors office due to some weight loss and fatigue issues, only to realize that in less then 2 months I've lost 30lbs (I don't have a scale at home, and hey I'm looking good!). So had a EKG, and blood work done and having a full physical today.
Gay or not, the idea of being groped and poked by a 60 something, short, balding doctor, isn't my idea of a good time. Unless there is money and/or drugs involved

As for House, hell that's fairly tame, considering House's comment to Cameron about performing oral sex on black basketball players

The real news here is the honesty of a games company!

Perhaps you forgot about that kickass trailer that came out two years ago?

http://youtu.be/_X68VEaIIdc

This game could have been really great.

Yeah it could have been a great CGI movie, but then again for the last 4-5 years, games are first shown with a CGI trailer, with gameplay video to follow 4-6 months later.

Respect for the dead, but prayers for the living.
My Dad was roughly the same build as James except 6'6, and I remember when I was 10 and with my dad getting his truck serviced at a GM dealer. My dad doubles over in extreme pain and one of the service guy's drove us to the hospital. Turned out to be his first kidney stone, but the experience alone was something I'll never forget. I hope his son is ok.
