Pardon my skepticism...

But hey, more power to them, if true...

Ever have a game with show_fps on during a loading screen and getting 500+fps? Now with the miracle of DX12 you can now get 900+fps!

But Max is correct, there are sections that swing wildly in difficulty.

Controls are better (again it's all based on your car spec) then TDU1/2, But at the same time it could have been a REALLY good game that suffers from the same damn thing Ubi has in all of it's games (vantage points, check ins, really shitty cheating AI).

If anyone has a copy on the PC, Ubi friend me at Cpt_Ranger

While I remember my horrible experience with BC2kAD (hell was it 2k or 3k?), I rather enjoy talking to Derek Smart as long as it's not about his own games!
Derek may have been the first 'passionate' developer out there, but come on now, quite a few other dev's have him beat.

*clears throat* It's been a while so bare with me.

Try living in Cincinnati where every fucking year the Bengal's get to the playoff game and just give up, but the cult of Bengal's fans love to say 'This is the year!'

The Teladi Outpost DLC introduces a whole Teladi-controlled system containing two new sectors and over a dozen zones of interest, along with new Teladi and pirate factions, and various new Teladi ships, stations and weapon types. (*)

(*) Please note: new sectors, Teladi and pirate factions, and various new Teladi ships, stations and weapon types not expected to actually work until patch 4.5, somewhere in November of 2015.

I'm still pissed at the state they released this in. A year later, it's finally starting to look somewhat like the game it should have been.

*continues running crappy trade runs in Elite* Oh... what? I sorta remember you X series of games, but like a bad date I'm not looking back. BTW my new boyfriend is AMAZING, and the sex is OUT OF THIS WORLD! Buh-bye!

Wish they'd leave my damn controls alone. Every time I finally get them EXACTLY how I want them, they screw with them again.

Still need to figure out a way to get money, 2k a cargo run is boring as shit.

Slick wrote on Dec 4, 2014, 21:21:
yeah, i wouldn't get too focused on the exact numbers for recommended minimum specs. i'm sure a 660 will play the game even if it says it requires a 670. these recommended specs have always been something to take with a giant grain of salt. a veritable salt lick. so i'm not really sure why people are getting all bent out of shape because of it.

the big picture: "this game is demanding on hardware, don't expect to get a solid 120 FPS on a nice rig, don't expect 60 FPS on a 2-year old rig" that's what this story is about. and i'm all for more demanding games.

IT'S ABOUT FUCKING TIME.

and anyone who complains should have their mouse and keyboard stripped from them, and replaced with that awful giant original xbox controller. as that seems to be what they want.

Some of us actually LIKED the original 360 controller. Those of us who don't have tiny hands

It doesn't look bad... it just comes across as unbelievable. At least X-Men Days of Future Past fixed all the problems the 2nd and 3rd movie made, but I don't see how they are going to pull it off without a Spock goes back in time 'thing'.

*shrugs*

So what's the word on the street? Is it any good?

I'd just like to play something like Test Drive Unlimited 2 again. Will The Crew scratch that itch?

Forza Horizon's 1 or 2 would EASILY take care of your TDU2 itch (minus the casino).

Unless they made some serious changes to handling (all versions) it will be AC Unity part 2. And the embargo doesn't give me much hope.
