As far as I can remember there has always been "hallway" loading in all of the other Valve games. It's like Portal 2 is the first game they've played.

That was a bunch of guys in a house making games for gamers. Not a huge corp whose main goal is profit margins and share holders by selling a "product".

Store's kind of tacky but considering what they're selling I don't really care. If it makes people realize Valve is a company trying to make money the same as all the others though, it's an awesome thing.

Exactly it's not like they made the whole Co-op DLC. Just pointless "if you want it.." stuff.

Why pay R&D when people will innovate stuff for free?

Really? That's what you take from this announcement? People asked for this before launch, people complained that Microsoft ignored the PC, people hacked their way to get this to work, and when Microsoft embraces it and totally opens the gates you make a post implying they're only doing it because they're greedy and looking to cut costs elsewhere?

Wow.

More of a play on both. It's good to see them open it up. it can only bring better items for the future of the product and motion recognition in general. But really what's wrong with having tons of people working on your product for free? Think Recaptcha is greedy because they make millions of people work for them for free daily while providing a service?

I've squeezed more fun out of MC than other games... I'm not sure how paying for a product; receiving and playing said product makes somebody gullible? I was happy with where it was at, any updates are a bonus to me.

Also saying it's in an account somewhere probably means it's in some account in Gibraltar.

For the record, i made well hidden sarcastic joke about Bohemias ability to make a flight Sim.

Oh yeah I didn't catch the inside joke. Maybe an italicized statement around the lines of " ... and according to other BIS games..."

Oh yeah they're super easy to operate. I'm having so much trouble trying to figure out this whole horseless carriage, I think I'm going to sell it and buy a helicopter for my morning commute. LATER TRAFFIC!
