I've only ever had streaming-only from Netflix, so I'm hoping this move will bring more DVD-only titles to the streaming service. It's ridiculous how often we try to find a movie to watch and find that it's only available on DVD. Sorry Netflix but if I have to get the DVD I'll go to the public library and get it for free.

At least the game shouldn't be too hard on PC hardware. As long as everyone keeps making multiplatform games while nobody releases a new console system, a PC that can run the game in maximum detail will remain cheap to build.

Maybe someone should introduce a measure that requires legislators to pay court costs and legal fees and whatnot if they author or co-author a bill that is deemed unconstitutional. Perhaps then they would actually check to make sure the bill they're writing is legal instead of pissing away more and more taxpayer dollars. How many times has Leland Yee lost this fight? With the budget problems in California he should be burned at the stake.

Even if they do get caught there's still plenty of life to live before getting nailed, if they're not stupid. DoJ considers it a major victory to successfully prosecute someone in eight years.

It was a good ride while it lasted, but if my $15 a month doesn't continue to get me the same stuff it does now the ride is over. If it does, then hurrah so what, business as usual.

If a movie like The Hangover can be made, I'm sure this will be made into a movie too.

At least with Congress, we can not vote to re-elect someone who isn't doing the job we like. Of course, the average American will be too busy watching teevee to know who's even running for office, let alone what they're doing. Alphabet agencies, on the other hand, do not have directors that have to run for election every couple years. They just get their job and keep it until they either tire of it or screw it up extremely badly, and the people have no say in what policies they enact or even in who runs the agency that is paid for by our tax dollars.

I can't get enough of Saints Row 2. Best memory so far is playing cooperatively with my brother where we flew planes with machine guns around, dogfighting with police attack helicopters for like 2 hours. What other game lets you create Josef Stalin P.I. and fight helicopters in a triplane?

Considering that BioWare didn't make a cent off of your used purchase, I don't think they give a shit about your thanks. Especially since they're part of EA now.

I love it. She put her credit card information into the Live profile for her kid. What did she expect her kid to do? Nobody educates their kids on what money is anymore. It's like 20 years ago when kids would say "What? I have money. I'm not out of checks yet!" Even after the kid spent all that money, she is still putting the blame on Microsoft and not the kid or herself. I wish I could find the one event that removed personal responsibility from society's daily actions.

I'm open to other possibilities. Since it is the biggest change it is a logical conclusion however, especially when I have enough other games to play that I didn't spend more than an hour on trying to fix it.

edit: Damn it, it was the Aero desktop screwing it up. I'm kind of mad at myself that I didn't think of that weeks ago. However, it was Win 7's fault, from a certain point of view.

What mod is this? I know about the mod that fixes the speed issue but I can't even get the game to launch anymore.

That sounds like a driver update related issue, SR2 runs on Windows 7 just fine, I thought you meant the speed bug. When did it stop running for you?

Stopped running after I upgraded to 7. Ran great in XP. Hasn't worked once in 7 though. I'm reinstalling it in Steam now, though I kinda expected it to be done by now since I left it going all day but eh. I did update my device drivers immediately after I got 7 up and running so maybe that's a factor. If it had finished earlier like I was planning I could get an error code but amazingly it still has several hours to go.

I can't even get SR2 to run ever since I upgraded to Win 7. That made me give in and buy a used copy for the 360. I found it to be way better on PC but I'm not reformatting my drive a fourth time this year to put an XP partition on heh. Here's hoping they take the PC port seriously this time around.
