From what I read, SPIDER-MAN 3's problem was with producer Avi Arad. Where Sam Raimi's original plan was to solely have Sandman as the villain, Arad forced him to shoehorn in Venom and Gwen Stacy as well. Hence the formula for another bloated disaster.

I participated in the public betas for both Guild Wars and Tabula Rasa. Neither beta was all that enjoyable for me, but by its release a few months later Guild Wars was a very different game. If TR has truly undergone such a radical makeover, I might find it worth a try...but I'll still need more convincing.

I loved the Elder Scrolls setting (Morrowind more than Oblivion), and wouldn't mind seeing the same level of writing and imagination go into an MMO set there. Only problem is, if they're going to do it right, it's going to be years and years before we see anything. But if they try to do it quickly, it's going to turn out very wrong.

When I see the title "Audition" I think of Takashi Miike's movie...now there would be an MMO that gets talked about!

No, you misinterpreted. There's going to be at least 1 neutral city in Outland, but both the new capital cities and starting zones for the new races are in Azeroth (just in new areas of Azeroth). There will not be new content for 20-60.
Thanks, that does spell out my basic worry about the expansion...the absence of mid-level content. I'm a relatively casual solo PvE'er who's run a dozen toons up into the mid-40s, but found my interest flagging once I've hit the grind needed to get up towards 60. I'm disappointed that there won't be anything significantly new to lure out anyone who's not hit the level cap.

All I've been able to glean from these previews are that the expansion will include (1) a starting area feeding into a capital city, and (2) level 60+ zones and instances. What I'd like to know is, will there also be mid-level zones and quest chains through which one can grow a character completely, or are you going to have to spend levels 20-60 in Azeroth?

Nobody's holding a gun to his head to play and pay.
If he doesn't want to have an MMO taking up 90 percent of his monthly gaming time, then he can just go out and buy 3 or 4 new games at $50 each every month.

What I find curious is the question of how the government is determining from the records whether or not the search is being conducted by a child. If they're not looking for search phrases like "my little pony buttfuck", then they're either implicitly trying to find children on the internet, or else already know where the children are.
