Re: Release date, DLC, and Steam |

Does Valve take a huge chunk of change out of every Steam release? It's the only release I can see why more companies don't do it. Costs less per copy to distribute, convenient redownloading for those who don't need a pretty box, and a form of copy protection built right in.

Looks like Freespace 2 with higher poly counts, modern effects, and Battlestar Galactica style space-shaky-cam filming So basically we've already had it.

I know it's free but...a giveaway of Geforce 7 series cards? They're not even the good 7 series cards, they're 7300s and 7600s.

They took the PC shots in-game Nope, they took both using a digicam.
Therefore, we displayed both versions on an LCD TV (1366x768 Pixel) and made some shots with a DSRL (Canon EOS 400D). |

But to be honest: You notice these differences only if you have the side by side comparison. Or if you know, if you were looking at the game using a PC monitor instead of through a DIGITAL CAMERA. What kind of two-bit gaming website takes screenshots that way?

I highly doubt it, since Dragon Age was started partially to show PC gamers some love. I'd like to think they are less douchey and not so idiotic as to restart development on a different lead platform after 5+ years.

...it's concept art. Calm down. Is it really concept art when the game's been in development for 4 years? The concepts are already in the game.

Uh, you realize she was elected Prime Minister of Pakistan, twice before, right? This is more about the current political struggle with Musharraf.

1. Not like Oblivion, this is a story driven RPG, not sandbox.
2. No level cap, but you stop gaining talent points after level 50, so you cannot get all talents.
3. Get the International version from Gogamer, for the sake of principle.

Defense is easier than Offense, and Dustbowl reflects that, being a 3 part defense map for Red, which is fine. It's like a beach landing, fighting against heavy odds.
AFAIK, every single melee weapon does the same 45-85 damage, except the Scout Bat which is 2x swing speed, 1/2 damage, and the spy knife which does very little damage on a non-backstab.
As for the friends achievement, I'm apart of a Steam group, that's how I keep track of my friends, does the same thing as a friends list, but it doesn't count for the achievement. Even if they were all on your friends list, what would be the chances of you all being on the same team in a whole round anyway?

MOST ADDICTIVE VIDEO GAME FUELED BY DEW Halo 3 (Microsoft Game Studios/ Bungie Studios) WTF? Is that a real category? That is seriously messed up.
The rest of the choices aren't too bad I guess, but when you have categories like "STUDIO OF THE YEAR" "BEST MILITARY GAME" "BEST INDIVIDUAL SPORTS GAME" "BEST RHYTHM GAME" in addition to "BEST (insert platform here) GAME", it kills the idea of having to actually CHOOSE one good game per category.
Hell, they might as well have categories like "BEST GAME WITH A NAME STARTING WITH THE LETTER A". Then they wouldn't have to leave out any of the games advertising on the show! This comment was edited on Dec 8, 15:39. |

It's slow because they had to release it simultaneously with the 360 update, which MS requires a ton of testing for. If it was a PC only patch, it would've been out in 1/3 the time.

Read even more closelier...
He said Myth with a gamepad would be awful, which you agree with. Another Myth would be awesome, so few real-time stategy/tactics games do away with the resource management. I think they sold the Myth license before they got bought by Microsoft though, which resulted in the joke that was Myth 3.
