Ooo, tempting... Apparently that Might & Magic 6 pack contains the original Might & Magics 1 through 6, and the page indicates they work with XP. I've never purchased anything through GOG; are those games "tweaked" to run natively in XP or would you still need to run DOSbox or something similar? Heh, Crag the Hack... guys, those sound effects arent from doom or quake or whatever, they are just used in those games, like they are in countless tv shows, ads, movies, etc. they are part of an old sound library thats considered a standard in the industry.. its the "Hollywood Edge Sound Library", been around for decades Thanks Professor. My point was that's the first place I'd heard those sounds, and I think of those two games when I hear them now. m19

I always use inverted no matter what the game– seems completely unnatural otherwise. (The original Tribes was the first game that got me on WASD+mouse. DOOMII and Quake2 were all keyboard before that.) m19 This comment was edited on Jun 26, 2009, 16:10.
