| My 360 is only loud when I'm playing a DVD movie or game in the DVD drive. The HD-DVD player itself is really quiet when playing a movie in it. It's no louder than the PS3's Blu-ray drive which is also silent. |

Disks are going to be round for a long long time to come. That's for sure. They may one day be holographic disks or something else, but they'll stick around for some time. |

After looking at Carver's earlier posts, I have come to the conclusion that he is a disgruntled former Epic employee and is getting revenge by talking bad about GoW and UT3. |

I've never bought a 360 or PS3, because the high end PCs already have better graphics and I have a 24" flat panel instead of a HDTV that I know I'd never use.
Yeah, but to get a high-end PC you have to spend a lot more than $400. And you can connect the console to your 24" monitor. |

What about the Wii?
The Wii at its price point is now setting a standard and an expectation, and people say, well, the Wii is less complex technically. I don't think that really matters as much to the consumer
I think it matters and so do many other people. A lot of people think the Wii is over-priced.

Kane & Lynch does not feature online co-op and it is unclear if the PC version will even support split-screen co-op...
That sucks but I mostly play co-op on a single console anyways so it's not a problem for me. Seems strange that they can't get co-op online though. I was looking at another game that was the opposite and could only do co-op online. |

70-80% is not bad for this type of game. I like that you can play through it in co-op mode. I'll wait for more reviews, and hopefully a demo, but I'm still interested in this. I'll probably wait and pick up a used copy later though after I get, and beat, Mass Effect. |

Have you played (maybe just the demos for) Ratchet&Clank and Uncharted?
Yes and no.
Check out some of the videos of Little Big Planet. In terms of realistic graphics/physics, I think that beats anything yet seen on the 360 hands down.
I'll have to do that. I haven't played much on the PS3 yet, but some of the games would only run at 720p, while most 360 games run at 1080p (or are upconverted). I have a 61" tv so its easier to notice a difference between the two resolutions. I will have to get some game for the PS3 which is also on the 360 and do a direct comparison sometime. |

Mark Rein: PS3 UT3 graphics better than Gears of War. I'll be the judge of that. So far I've been more impressed with the 360 graphics over the PS3. |
