Had they kept the original design, I think it would have been a much more pronounced difference. But now that they've rolled everything back, there's a not a lot of differences between the two, outside of exclusives.
..and the Kinect and price difference. That's the main thing I don't like. I can understand them wanting to include it with every Xbox so everyone has it, but I'm just not interested.

Speaking of curved screens, this would be pretty sweet. This is a concept from 2011 so I'm surprised there's still nothing like it around..

Gaming on phones or tablets is growing, but is it growing at the cost of PC gaming? Is less being spent on PC gaming now than 5 or 10 years ago? All the people I know who game on their mobile device either sill do as much PC gaming as ever or wouldn't do PC gaming regardless of what their mobile device offers.
I used to do a good bit of mobile gaming on my cell phone and tablet, but I have pretty much gotten over it and prefer my PC or console. I hardly ever play any mobile games anymore unless I'm away from home.

Meh, sounds interesting but I'll just connect my PC to my TV if I want to play PC games on it.

I think it was better to stand the original 360 horizontally too because the main air inlets would be on the bottom when vertical. I had mine horizontal and it lasted about 6 years before I got the RROD..

Yeah, seems like the mobile GPUs are advancing faster than the desktop! Of course they're just playing catch-up now.

Swa the kickstarter for this a while back. The team looked truly passionate about the game and it does look interesting to say the least.
Yeah, I was gonna say.. I thought I saw this on Kickstarter before.

Wow, who keeps paying these guys? I wonder how much of this is from new backers and how much is from people increasing their backing to get more goodies..

I hope they have enough so that I get one of the launch PS4s in November rather than wait until December. I ordered from Sony instead of Amazon to get extra reward points on my Sony Card, but have not gotten any estimated delivery date yet..

Huh, that's interesting since the PS3 supports up to 7.. not that I ever used more than 4 anyways, I just wonder why it is less than before. Maybe it's because of the added features on each controller make it take up more resources.

We still have a ways to go before we have achieved the goal of being completely community funded

How much do they need? $50,000,000? Does anybody know?

Chris Roberts said US$ 20 million and then it's considered as entirely crowdfunded, making it the first fully crwodfunded AAA game in history.
What makes this a AAA title?

I hate to say it but the console versions might actually be more fun than the PC edition. Local Coop might be a winner.
Will the console version require an internet connection to play SP as the PC version does? If not then that alone would make it better IMO.

I played the first one last month. It's good, but (and I can't believe I, of all people, am saying this) it got waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too longwinded at the end, and the much-vaunted story makes no sense whatsofuckingever.

And there doesn't seem to be much "importing" going on (it's mostly a few dialogues that mention what you did in game 1), and I'd say read a synopsis of game 1 then start with game 2.

Unless you have 60 or 80 hours to kill, in which case, play 1 first.
Hmm, I may have to do that since I haven't had much time to play lately but I'll see how it goes after I move. I do have a couple weeks of vacation left that I still need to use this year though so I could use some of that if I don't end up going somewhere.

I never tried the Uprising expansion for Red Alert 3.. was it any good? I skipped over it because I heard it didn't have the campaign co-op play (which was what really sold me on the RA3 core game).
I haven't played it either but the Metacritic scores for it are in the 60's (critic and user) so that's not good..

Agreed, why didn't I jump on this earlier?!
Did y'all play the first Witcher as well? I got both but haven't gotten around to playing either yet.
