WWI didn't have "stunt" planes, although after being sold as war surplus many pilots used them in that way during the barnstorming era.
The CGI must have cost a fortune back then. |

How many times have you felt that...
After a lengthy open beta for a popular game like the BF series there will inevitably be GLARING imbalances, omissions and bugs that will leave you shaking your head at how a large group of participants could overlook them, or that a design team could release it without addressing them. Most times the issues are totally obvious after just a few hours of play. What kills me is that they don't learn from or build on previous successful designs and what you see is some kind of freak de-evolution, omitting features that are widely held as a genre standard.
The shitty server search interface and impotent AA are good examples.

If you clean out your cache file, load times are brought down to almost nothing. Just remember, your cache file is in "My Documents" not where you installed the game.

Friend of mine has worked at EB for years. Not only are they not carrying many PC games anymore, they're not taking any on trade. This happened around the time whore Gamestop bought them out.
You can blame it on the urban, PC-illiterate console zombies that ask: "You got dat Madden?"
The PC gamers they do have come in and have no fucking clue as to what their system specs are and say things like "I got a good one, its a Dell, its got Gigs and I bought it last year I think."

Latest scourge to hit BF2- Key Macros.
Yep, everything from auto-fire to prone & roll, and even a macro for the TV-Guided helo missle to smooth aiming.
I've gone from getting jazzed over Armored Fury and likely purchasing it to seriously considering uninstalling the whole lot (BF2+SF+EF) and never looking back. |
