Update on HL2 Release Date
Spitcodfry was lucky enough to visit Valve recently and was smart enough to bring a camera and post this pics online at Halflife2.net . He had a chance to also speak to Gabe about the much anticipated Sept 30th release date. Here is what he had to say:
The first thing I asked him Gabe Newell was about the 30th. And people, I gotta tell ya I didn't expect him to spill the beans for me if he didn't spill them for the press. I asked: 'Will you make it for release by the 30th?'
He chuckled and said 'We'll see.'

Blue has kept us updated for almost 8 years, now it is time for us to keep the site fresh when he is in need! Let's all pitch in for Blue's sake! Here is my contribution of some interesting headlines:
World of Warcraft Update
Saw on Shack that The WoW website reveals that there will be six major cities in Azeroth. I was surprised by this since most mmorpgs I have played as of late have at least 8 cities. Does anyone know if WoW allows for player made cities? Sure hope so.
Words 3D demo pulled
According to VE3D, the demo has been pulled by request of Team 17. Team 17 is stating that their product has been leaked and that neither their organization or Activision released it to the public. They state that a new demo will be posted in 7 days time.
Star Wars Episode 3
Gnsproject.com has posted that Star Wars Episode 3 has finished filming on Wednesday, 5 days ahead of schedule. No title for the film has been decided yet. The Phantom Menace has been released on DVD which is the first of the SW movies on this medium. Us Canucks can get it for a whopping $41.98. Starwars.com has more info.
TTOEE Download on Kazaa
I noticed on the Q23 forums yesterday that Atari is teaming up with Kazaa if you can believe it 0_o. You can download a 6 hour time restricted demo of the Temple of Elemental Evil from Kazaa for free. (Tip: Once the 6 hours is up, simply turn your computer clock back 6 hours and keep playing!)

Blue,
my mother died last year of a stroke (hemorrhagic) (she was 59 and totally healthy)... when you have a massive stroke sometimes it is better to pass on than to continue with a substantially decreased quality of life.
I hope your mother's situation isn't this bad.. and I hope the medical system is working for you and your family during this trying time. Good luck buddy!

HERE HERE!!! WELL SPOKEN! I dont even plan on getting Halo for PC till they release / add COOP. Honestly that was the only thing that made it XBOX Game of the year! And now they remove it????? What Idiots! Whats is wrong with the game makers these days!?!? COOP should be added into EVERY game released to date! .... You want you game to be game of the year?? Heck the game could even partially suck, but if you add COOP, BAM! Game of the year! ... why? Cause everyone else isnt doing it! Everyone else is missing out! Seriously someone should start an online petition for EVERY GAME FROM NOW ON TO HAVE MULTIPLAYER COOP! no questions! just do IT!!!

some people have tried it for 3-4 minutes (after they disabled the endless loop function) and it still continued... I am going to time it... starting at 12:35pm
...going..
...going....
..still going....
edit: 12:58, with Loop disabled it's still going!!!
edit: 1:15pm, still going..
edit: 1:32pm, it's still badgering away! (yes, loop is disabled)
edit: 2:12pm, it stopped!!! somewhere between 1:32pm and 2:12pm it STOPPED!!!!!!
... which means it is about an hour of badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger... mushroom, mushroom! I think I haev lost my sanity after listening to this dumb cartoon.
