define "failed"?
as I get older I find FPS games less interesting and am thoroughly addicted to any RTS/RPG game... I loved the first demo of this game and am jizzing my pants over this one...

Be sure to put your speakers up when you unleash your titan for the first time!
My speakers? Hell, I tell my woman to stand at least 6 feet away when I unleash my titan.

already completed this game... only 12 missions for the XP pack.. and only 1 new god set (titans)
but it was still awesome nonetheless.
currently playing TTOEE and C&C Generals XP and loving both of them!

this patch is to prevent pirated online play... unfortunately, there is already a crack for public and private online play.
it takes days to make the patch and <1day to crack it..

I love the shacknews forums.. here are some quality posts about this topic:
"WHY DOES GOD DO THIS TO ME?! " --- "I have felt a great disturbance in the force; as if a million voices suddenly cried out in terror." --- "FUCK YOU VALVE SOFTWARE " --- "sometimes I run, sometimes I cry. " --- "In other news , DNF has also been delayed. " --- "Valve has changed engines"
---
I don't know what is more entertaining, Shacknews' commenters or Bluesnews' frederickson!

the Healing Process |

it has been 11 months for me and I still cannot look at pictures or video events of my mother... I don't think I ever will be able to... although I think I am healing pretty well.
I simply use all of the great memories of my mother and that brings an instant smile to my face... the "vast structure of recollection" is what I use to get through each day.
but, boy do I miss my mother...

Re: MamaBlue Fund?? |

It has been suggested in another post that maybe a Fund in the name of MamaBlue be created and donations taken for Breast Cancer Research. I have no Idea how to start a fund but I do Know I would be more than happy to make a Donation in MamaBlues name. Sorry about your loss. I lost someone close to me and at first I felt I lost something and with time I realized I lost nothing because I still felt the influence and the love of that person even stronger than before. Sorry only time realy helps. hey man, I don't want to sound too negative but from my experience donating to "research funds" is not a very practical thing... a very small portion of the monies ends up going directly to actual research..
If you REALLY want to do something then convince all the females in your family to be screened for breast cancer if they fit the screening criteria.
While you are at it, have every male family member over 50 get screened for prostate cancer and have a colonoscopy.
And every female family member greater than 18 and those that are less than 18 but sexually active get a Pap and get screened for HPV.
And anyone who smokes in your family should be encouraged to stop. Don't order junk/fast food anymore and cut down on alcohol consumption.
These behaviour modifications and screening practices would probably solve a lot of the of health care problems ubiquitous to the North American population. A lot more effective than starting a fund for breast cancer research.
Just my opinion though...

Sorry to hear it Blue.
I just had a similar case of a 75 yo male who was very healthy (he biked on his stationary bike each night).. his daughter found him this morning at 8am with the bike tipped over and him lying next to it. I scanned his head and he had a stroke as well... the family decided to remove life support and I pronounced him at 3:44pm today...
...my mother went in a very similar manner 11 months ago.
This sort of thing is so damn common, and so damn disheartening. It makes you remember how fragile life really is.
It's so cliche to say "enjoy your health while you have it" but nothing can be more closer to the truth.

it is b/c of post #47, run your cursor over it and highlight it... fred typed "JESUSISTHELORD" repeatedly withoutspaces and the dude who coded these forums didn't put in a line break for when smart alecs do this.. hence, unless fred changes it or someone with admin rights deletes it, it wont get fixed
