Pretty bummed I dont have one....I played the last round....

I just got mine, updating now. I got my last invite late also. So check often. Hopefully your invite is there waiting on you.

I'm looking forward to trying it out again. I was just starting to get into it when the last one went off line. Of course they seem to be in sync with my schedule at work. I couldn't play the first stress test because I was working. And barely got any time in on the weekend beta. I hope this weekend I am not stuck at work more than eight hours...

I HAVE GOUT! I CAN'T WORK! I NEED AN INVITE!

Speak not this blasphemy. When Lucas made Ep 1, the Gungans lived in an aquatic zone, and it turned out just fine. Even when they had to traverse the planet core.

Did you not attend the meeting where we all agreed Episode 1 never happened?

Nope never heard of it.

wtf is episode 1?

People sure love their 2D side scrolling pixelated adventures

I don't. I hate them. But Bats is all, Starbound this, and Starbound that so I'm curious at any rate.

I watched / skimmed through the bulk of this dudes playthrough on youtube, it starts off cool enough but seems to really break down in the repetitiveness plus the enemies are pretty stupid AI wise right now and their animations seem really crude - not sure if the later will improve since it's a low-pixel count game.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrQIVDpBZaY

You're just constantly chasing higher end gear to take out same pixel monsters with higher stats, slight variation to some of the background stuff. I think they need to add more references to other sci-fi movies and games - as far as they can go without getting sued anyway.

? You just described every game....

It is a really well done game. Flying to other planets, systems, galaxies, etc is where this game shines. It is Terraria^100. Literally. They are talking about having MILLIONS of planets, and hoping to release the game with BILLIONS of planets.

If anyone wants to play, hit me up. I have a ship full of gear, weapons, etc.

Dear middle aged body that has put up with a ton of abuse over the years. I get it. But enough already with the gout....

k luv u.

Too much booze for youuuuuuuuuuu...I speak from experience.

Thats the thing though - nothing I did this time around except lack of water.....

Last time: 3 day bender, Twins game, tons of red meat, concert at first ave, lack of sleep, ate huge amounts and lots of red meat when I did eat but also was starving myself in between, no water, etc etc. That was 1.5 years ago.

This time: ........ no reason, maybe just slight dehydration from weather/work. So bummed.

Doc put me on some stuff this time - hopes that in 6 weeks when we check my uric acid it is below 6 (6 is normal) since he would like to see it lower than normal since I might be genetically prone to get it (genetically != parents or family). Sucks. Last time it was 9.6 self induced.

I am of good height and weight. BP is awesome. I am generally in excellent health. Might just be lucky on the gout front I guess.

/just got a msg from doc. 9.1 this time. It is worse though, last time was right foot big toe - so i could work around it - this time it is 2nd, 3rd, and 4th toe inner knuckle. bad bad. Welp....keep on truckn! (ooo, I have 3 days to play Euro Truck!!!!!)

Even though I don't play the games, I really wish Sony/Microsoft/EA/Activision/Etc would release a solution to allow players to set up their own servers and continue playing. Then again, I'm sure the MP landscape for these games is desolate at best.

this... Resistance 3 is still pretty new, i haven't played it yet and waiting for a deal on it so i can try multiplayer .

You got until the end of March.

Full collection is $31 on amazon...

Is the game MP only? Or is there a SP component that will still work?

hahah they cashed you in on your money and just sitting on it. I love it.

They have raised over 3M dollars - they are not in a hurry to release it....

I'd say it's a hell of a lot more than 3 million. 875,000 sales at $30 minus Valves 30-40%...

With many more sales to come, they better throw more developers at it.

I missed a zero. Sorry.

I think it is hilarious that people so young are "chief editor" and "lead programmer" in their areas. You don't know shit at 20-30.....as you gown down through the list - there isn't really anyone you can respect at the time where they are in their career or what they have done.

They don't even know who Mr. Kotter is or have seen Little House on the Prarie.......just sayin.....

(yes I am bitter that at age 12 I said "how come we always have to play games alone.....how come we all can't play together, I mean....we have the internet and we are all connected anyway....." - and just let it go)

Hammerfight on Steam. Save 50%.

I suggest steering clear of this one. It is all mouse movement click fest. My wrist actually hurt after playing. You whip a ball around your ship to hit other stuff.....it is boring as hell.

Yeah, I was a total wimp and didn't go out today in the sub zero temperatures. However, it will probably still be below zero early tomorrow when I go out to start working on shoveling the driveway. Frankly, I'll not looking forward to it, but hey -- it isn't THAT bad.

I let the pups out after their supper and ran to the garage to make sure Jeep would start. Fired right up and said it was 8 degrees in there.....it is 20+ below right now.

Also, good thing you work from home Blue!

Yeah, that got old in a hurry didn't it? Someone quoted him the other day and he said "I" like 9 times in a single paragraph. His "holier than thou" attitude is extremely annoying...

yea...well....I am sitting at home and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. I really think that I won't go outside today as I think it would be really could. I might just have a brandy and I hope you will have one too! I hope you have as good of a day as I do!

love bats.
