Once we decide, I think I will make a second group for us and we can do a "spread" type pick every week as well. See who the TRUE masters are. heheheheh

I joined ESPN because I already got an account there and I like the system. If people decide to do something else that is cool, but I am going to wait to create an account with any of them until I have to.

Yea, I just wanted to get into each one and see what they look like. I personally like how ESPN works. It seems the friendliest and was easiest to setup. They have a ton of data as well.

Go poke around, let me know what you guys think and we will make a decision soon.

Bats.

/I am leaning to ESPN, but Yahoo also looks pretty good. NFL and FOX are garbage. I also don't like having to create a yahoo email for the yahoo service......right now I am geared towards ESPN unless someone has a very compelling argument.

/if you guys are playuing BL2 still - and don't edit your file for keys, this site is always up to date for Golden Keys. http://orcz.com/Borderlands_2:_Golden_Key

Hay guys, some games coming out soon, Gauntlet being one of them, and GMG is doing a 25% off until tomorrow on many man games. Got Gauntlet for $15.00 - comes out on Sept 3rd.

GMG250-FFSELE-CTED00

If the game you want doesn't use that code, here is one for 20% - Z4364W-7MR5WA-N5BCOO

NFL Pick time again?

GO CUBS!

I would like to pick the Bengal's but sadly I'm not a native of Cincinnati and delusional (bat shit crazy) about the Bengal's chances.
4 years, 4 loses in the 1st post season game of the year.

Well who doesn't like the Bangles? Manic Monday, Walk Like and Egyptian, Hazy Shade of Winter, et al.

*ZING!

That's why my next move is deep into the country where I'll have no neighbors in seeing/hearing distance. The older I get, the more I value my peace and quiet and space.

Trying to convince my wife of that - but she is a city kid.....so I am screwed....I want 30 minutes out of Minneapolis, 5 acres, a fence, and quiet.....AND GET OFF MY LAWN!@

I recently got me hood signed up for Nextdoor. Something I have said for years and some interesting points in these 2 paragraphs from teh story.

The companyís success parallels a troubling trend. The rise of social networks means many people have hundreds or even thousands of digital connections to old friends, co-workers, and acquaintances. But increasingly that wealth of online companionship corresponds with a loss of close relationships to the real-life human beings in our neighborhoods. A third of Canadians and half of Americans admitted in studies that they donít know the names of any neighbors. In the UK, one in three people couldnít pick their neighbors out of a police lineup.

Two new books, Marc Dunkelmanís The Vanishing Neighbor and Susan Pinkerís The Village Effect, chronicle these trends and their impact on our bodies and our body politic. Dunkelman sees it at the root of Americaís increasingly polarized politics and disaffected voters. For Pinker, a sociologist, the effects run deeper. She notes that the more overlapping relationships among friends, family, and neighbors, the better a personís prognoses with the most life-threatening diseases and the lower the instances of debilitating illness like dementia. Getting to know your neighbors is statistically shown to produce a longer, healthier life.

The social online world is killing face to face pleasantries.

The point of the redux is that they changed the second game to have more of the horror/survival feel of metro2033 with a new "survival mode", instead of run and gun/easy time mode. The 'graphics' are just extra icing.

For me the point is that I can actually play the first game because it's on Linux now. Which means I can actually play the second game because that's what I was waiting on. So yeah, sweet.

It is 2014, have a windows box already....sheesh.
