Every Comcast customer has a Comcast email. You may not use it, you may not even know how to access it, but it exists. That is part of signing up with Comcast Internet service because it is part of what they create when they create your account. I didn't know I had one until I called into customer service to find out how to access my voice mail for my digital phone service. You may never have created or accessed a Comcast email address but because of the way Comcast's account system functions you do have one. In fact, the customer service rep I spoke to told me I could lock my email address so as not to receive or send messages but that I couldn't delete because of their billing and technical support systems. They even keep the email address listed on your account if you have 1 or 2 other email addresses listed as your contact email.

Don't take my word for it though, call them. To be specific, whomever the name on the bill for your service is, that is who has the email service. "billpayersname@comcast.net" for example. You can also get a number of email addresses for free associated to your account for free. For example, my wife and step-children all have Comcast email addresses. For whatever reason Comcast loves email and apparently bases quite a bit of their customer service infrastructure on the existence of it.

Another email address (a temp one at that) is the last thing I need anyway.

I can't get 100%, I have some gun parts that are glitched.....so bummed.

Im thinking this "Six Strikes" bullshit is just a cheap way ISPs can get away with throttling internet speeds. It beats having to upgrade their data centers every few years.

This has nothing to do with copyright infringement and the only reason ISPs actually agreed to go along with it is because of the potentialy very cost effective speed throttling.

Most people wont even bother to appeal the 35$ since I would wager 99.9% of all internet users have at some point at least streamed copyrighted material. (Not to mention the fact that the ISP is investigating itself...hmmm...smells funky to me)

Its speed throttling and its bullshit. Pirates will switch to VPNs anyway and those who arent tech savy enough to do so will suffer low internet speeds.

The whole thing seems shady....I am a Comcast customer, but I know for a FACT I don't have a comcast email address. Never have, never will. Secondly, as commenters posted on ARS, how do they send this message? Are they hijacking your web browser? If so, I have more concern for what THEY are doing than what any USER is doing....

"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom."

"What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving."

"You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Our current problem in Minnesota - one of the nations welfare havens:
"When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for...that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation."

And most importantly:
"The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. "

No matter how you look at it, this game is still an outright scam. The forum idiots ban anyone linking to all the horrible reviews this game has gotten.

Anyone who buys this game or even plays it is an idiot because they are supporting really bad game design.

Same could be said about HUNDREDS of AAA titles - most by UBI Soft and EA.

The Worst Taxi Driver in GTA History.

Just cranked down the friction and shot the tires out....be better if it was something wacky int he actual game - but that is modded like mad. That GTA vid from last week when he jacked a car and then got smashed by that box truck was hilarious. Probably also not random, but more likely than this.

Shit like this cracks me up. Had this kind of stuff happen in teh game all the time (the reaction of the driver is so 'natural' that you just can't believe it:

"And consumers are enjoying and embracing that way of business."

?

It will all go to F2P.
MMOs did it, these games will do it too.

The only game I did micro trans on was TF2 to check out how it worked. It is a scam. Period.

This game was/is a waste of my time and a waste of the money I was suckered into paying for it! I had my suspicions & reservations when they first started marketing it, but I took a leap of faith, when I should have followed my instincts like I did with A:CM.

The bottom line is that the game is flat, un-immersive, has bad audio and uninspired graphics. The game sucked, still sucks, and always will suck!

And NO, of course I am not bitter……

The game was 1/4th or less of the cost of ACM.....for the price paid, the game is fine. There are far WORSE games that cost a hell of a lot more. It is a survival zombie shooter. I don't really care about the other stuff....

A simple solution is to create HUGE penalties for just sitting and killing, and making ONLY points avail for objectives. Insteaf of 100 pts a kill, how about 10? That will make them focus on PLAY rather than kills. Scorestreaks KIND of fixed some of the problem, but the points needs to be adjusted.

This is why I would play with ONLY a core group of people. I refuse to pub with morons in CTF that just sit in a corner and not help the team at all.

Diablo 3 will not require Internet connection on PS3, PS4.

Of course. All of Blizzards reasons about why the game requires a persistent internet connection turned out to be complete hogwash, "The game was designed to be played online only, we can't just make an offline patch". Whoops. Who could've imagined? Wait, most of those "negative" users who correctly called this out. It was an obvious farce to all but the most brand blinded zealot long ago.

It's a smart business move for Blizzard, hedge your bets in case there has been actual brand damage done in the PC market. It's a real middle finger to their fans though, development of the PC version will now be slowed by console certification and release problems.

The whole reason was the AH.
