/today is a good day, kinda. My final payment on my Jeep was made and I am free and clear on that - the downside is I just had a new furnace installed and now I have to pay for THAT....and I was thinking about surprising the wife with a NEW Jeep to replace her old one....it is never ending.

I just started socking away $100 a paycheck until I had enough to buy one free and clear. Did it once and have done it ever since. Took some patience but I hated that feeling of paying off one thing and going into another right away.

Between the 1.99% on the vehicle (I love credit unions) and the 0% on the furnace - it is worth the instant satisfaction.

Blue,

I don't really care one way or the other, but you have a ton of Lifelock ads running. Not sure if you have a policy about ads from companies that have been found to be nothing but a scam.

Creston

He hasn't responded to any of the multiple scam ad warnings I have sent him. How many times do I have to see "(insert city here) Mom finds secret to (insert secret here)"

Good luck. I want to support the site, but between the takeover ads, loud popups, and scams, I am about to turn them all off again.

Meteor's Sonic Boom Breaks Windows During Karate Class.

I love how the kids all run, and the 2 what I can only assume as teachers just stand there. hahahahah

Those images from the tunnel under NY are creepy. From the artcile:
A project so big that it prompted—unfounded—fears of a major collapse of some old city buildings, like St. Patrick's Cathedral.

heh...only time will tell!

Perry - "Although PS3 titles aren't natively supported on PS4..."

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

They just need to stop talking about it - cause the more I hear about the new console, the less I want it.

"Not natively" means every single ps2 and ps3 title will be available as DLC at a premium price.

So I guess PS4 news is drowning out nvidia Titan news.

Apparently, it sucks.

GeForce GTX Titan in most scenarios will be a slower than the GTX 690, roughly 15% to 20%. Realistically again I should be comparing towards GTX 680. However I really can't as the GTX 690 and Titan will be priced roughly the same. Now though the price might be fair, it will definitely be too much to swallow for most of you. On average you'll see 20% less performance then a GTX 690 versus the very same pricetag.

Great job, nvidia! All for only $1000?

Wow. So it is a PR and marketing scam? They are making it sound like the best thing ever....

Good points from both of you. Morrowind was my first experience with RPGs, and put a few hours into trying to kill that damned rat in the woman's basement and wandering off into some cave where I put 3 arrows into some Golem looking guy as he ran up and beat me to a bloodly pulp without even flinching, which prompted me to give up and not come back to the game until years later.

hahahah sorry...I laugh cause almost everyone I talk to speaks of the rat....I love it. I tried and tried as well. I wanna go home and kill it now.

/edit:If you think about it - kinda like the rats in Fallout 1. hahahah

So some people are born for disastrous outcomes. This is something Beck is totally not looking at, the science that matters the most, the persons genetic brain.

We can't have a world that everything falls under "if one person f's it up, we all lose it", because you end up with nothing.

Can we reign back some yes. But to make this a black and white case is absurd. To be anti game and pro gun in that manner is absurd. Hell those laser pointers have a Federal Ban on them and guns don't. Which is potentially more dangerous? Neither does it's bad thing without a human driver. Pretty funny the laser light is banned... Killed perhaps not a person to day.

Beck doesn't care about science. He cares about ratings and money, and that's all.

If the second amendment weren't in the constitution, I'm sure guns would be much more restricted then they are, especially in more liberal states like Cali and the northeast. Just like lasers.

Guns without violent games will still result in 1000s of murders in the US, like they did in the 1970s. Violent games without guns lead to no murders, like they have in Japan currently (4 to 10 gun murders per year while playing the same amt or more violent games than the US does).

eh, it isn't guns or games, see my earlier comment about factors. I would argue there are so many socio and economic factors (also culture, etc etc etc) ideals that Japan has that are far superior to ours. I would even go as far to say they respect life and family in general, alot more than we do.

Like the 1960s of US. When mom and dad were at home and Mrs Cleaver made dinner and was hot as hell! Just sayin....

Which party truly respects that people are different and wants to include them instead of reform them?

No party repects people....at all.
Governments aren't about "including" anyone. They are about social engineering to benefit the whole as THEY see fit....

Can Violent Video Games Play a Role in Violent Behavior?

Sure - but lets look at individual cases first.
Books, other media, cable tv, primetime tv, HOME LIFE, education, access to after school activites, dual parent homes, etc etc etc.

It is a FACTOR along wtih everything else. Not a source.

I refuse to even click on those stories.

I came across something that pointed out that today is "Love Your Pet Day." It's not possible to love anyone more than we love Hudson the wonder dog and the Gunnar-man around here, but it seems like a worthy cause, so I'm willing to put in some extra effort to try and see how it works out.

Missed this. Was sleeping, and mine were at the vet all day. Poor things. Teeth cleaning and annual checkups with anal glands cleansing. yuck.

They are pretty lathargic today - which is a first, so I am wondering if it is because of the doc I used, mine is out with a broken leg. Poor pooches, they are very whiney and just want to sit on my lap. Which is difficult when they are 96, 87, and 78 pounds....

I've still yet to play Bioshock 1 and 2. My girlfriend has beat both, really liked them, and is very much looking forward to Infinite. I told her maybe she should wait and check reviews first before buying it. She's like, "Nope, I don't care, I really enjoyed the first two and this one ties up the story, I'm going to play it good or bad."

So, should I play Bioshock 1 and 2? =P

If you have nothing else to play (not a problem I have) I would do it. I also haven't finished them, but am not in a hurry. This won't be out for a while, and I will also be waiting for peer reviews.
