Speaking of killers....

American police killed more people in March (111) than the entire UK police have killed since 1900

That's just fucking insane. It's seriously out of control now.

*sigh

That M1911 video is pretty cool. I carried a .45 for almost 7 years (Glock 21) at work and still daily carry a 45 off duty (Glock 30), but more recently we are moving everyone at the department to the 9mm (Glock 17 Gen4 with modular back strap swap outs). The last 5 years the 9mm has matched the .45 is almost all tests. They have done some wonderful things with the 9mm round - and it is so damn easy to shoot and get back on target, it is an over simplification, but it feels like shooting a .22 pistol compared to a .40 or .45. I did add a nice hammer-less revolver to my nicer weather daily carry (S&W 642-1) recently.

Anyway. That guy has always made quality videos, I really like the SPAS12 video, shows a lot of different games in that one. I love how he drops a ton of knowledge on us, yet shows a ton of games the weapons are used in. I rarely subscribe to video feeds, but he does such a great job.

/There is just something amazing about carrying a .45 weapon. Something that has been around this long and was carried in the "wild west". On top of that, until you get into rifle rounds, the .45 has a very distinctive cool sound. 9mm, 40 and others have a pop sound. A 45 has a BANG sound. On top of that, as an instructor, you can often SEE the round going down range, as it is slow but very powerful.

Morrowind 3:41 speedrun

I understand that's it's a "Speed run" but I don't consider these actual speed runs. They use bugs/glitches to actually do the run so it is not actually doing it as quick as possible. I'd like to see someone do a speed run without levitation + speed clipping. He skipped entire dungeons.

+1

Play the game, period. Skipping stuff is cheating. Period. Those "speed" runs are a joke.

Yeah, I got my invite. I'll give it a whirl. It'll be good timing. I have to do a little outpatient stuff at the hospital that Friday so I'll be recouping at home over the weekend. What's the Blue's guild there anyway? Server? Guild name?

Ill post it in a bit.

Maybe they banned too many players. I know someone who was permanently banned recently for no reason with no warning. They did absolutely nothing wrong. Not suprising they're done with Activision/Call of Duty.
I find that very hard to believe.

I am waiting for post launch where bonus is removed.

If you get all that in-game cash upfront you can go straight from BB gun to mini-gun (I imagine) or Beetle to Porsche, where is the fun in that.

Guns only unlock at certain levels/progression. When you walk into the gun store starting out, most of the items are unavailable. And you can steal cars from anywhere...

Yup, the only thing the cash is going to do is let you buy an apartment, some car upgrades (not early) and weapon mods (again, not early).

It is almost a false incentive, but having an apartment can be good to start.

maybe they will reveal they've seen the error of their ways and release a game in a state that people actually want to pay for.

HAHAHA... HA...

The only way that would be: Our own servers. And they will never do that again.

I know what you mean about having all the games in one place, however about patching I believe GTA5 will be using the Rockstar client to do all that stuff and not Steam.

There is a Rockstar client?

I was a bit confused since it looks like nuuvem gives you a key for the Rockstar social club and no Steam key, or am I mistaken?

But yeah, 27 on nuuvem vs. 60 on Steam seems almost like a steal.

If you preload the game on steam, then try and run the game, it brings up a little box and asks if you want to run the game or online. It then attempts to contact the R* social club network.

"Just head on over to your local private tracker and get the game for $0. From the look of your signature you're already jumping between over a dozen games, so I think you'll keep busy enough either way.

Too much emotional hype-buying around here these days. I almost long for the days when nearly every title was shrugged off as "Eh, I give it an 8/10, will wait for $5 bargain bin."

Honestly, the thought crossed my mind.

I have no doubt I'll pay for it when the price drops, lol. But until then I need my fix. I hate to go abouts this way but hey, times are tough, and I got other "priority" things to use my money on such as...rent.

With that said though, I didn't build this monsta rig for nothing! I had GTA5 in mind as I was installing it piece by piece! As I laid down the 970gtx, I said, GTA5, you are not worthy of this machine! Muwuahah!

Now that it's built, I feel like an ass for not buying the game immediately, lol.

? "Times are tough" but you bought a super nice rig? You remind me of a family member who cries when her car breaks down but posts her new tattoos on facebook.

Grow up. Buy the game, don't be that guy.

60 Gig. Heh. Yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and say that I'm never gonna download that...

I'd ponder getting the disc version, except it says DVD rom, which would mean it'd be on, what, 10 discs? So I think that's more a box where inside all they have is a download code...

7 Discs according to this

Thanks for info. I'm a collector of boxed PC games, so I guess I'll get my moneys worth.

I ordered it from Amazon and they guarantee delivery on 'release day', which is cool. That seems like a recent thing....

They have been doing that for a few years, I tried it - they failed miserably and I will never do it again. I got my game 4 days late...

Man, I hope this installer has a proper fail-safe. Imagine you're at 58GB and your house has a power-outage. Oh, the rage..

It does... mine would drop the connection repeatedly and reconnect. This seems to be working better now: Most of yesterday the download crawled (at one point it literally estimated it wouldn't be done before the game was released), but it finished up pretty quickly today.

I would be more concerned as to the reason I lost power....as it is very rare...

Finished The Witcher 2 last week, finally.

I'm excited for Witcher 3 but with GTA V next week, not sure I'll be ready for W3 at launch. Hell it took me this long to get around to W2.

Going to fire up W1 tonight.

Like I said before, I've always hated MOBA games, but this one is actually enjoyable for me....but I think the gameplay is more fun.

Ok...so for someone else that hates the very foundation of MOBA gameplay, what makes HoTS gameplay fun?

Wondering same.

Wow....I didn't not know you could get a PS4 like this, time to pull the trigger.

Apparently http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-4-Bloodborne-Bundle/dp/B00UZGQ3G4/ was $400 last week, but that seems a bit excessive just to play Bloodborne... Hope I can resist next time it comes around though...

Also looks like http://flash.newegg.com/product/68-110-163 is still going on, $160 plus whatever Demon's Souls costs since I never played that one...

I checked before bed, it was live, so I ordered it with a new Amazon Credit Card, got 70.00 off. BOOM.

I just played through HL2 this past week, there was a ton of stuff I didn't remember. I played through Half Life 2 Update. I didn't notice much of the visual stuff, but I watched a video of a really cool HL2 mod that puts in real weapons and sounds. I'll find the link and post it. Going to play through HL2 again, I'll throw that one on.
