What exactly explains this decline? Study co-author Dr. Jan te Nijenhuis, professor of work and organizational psychology at the University of Amsterdam, points to the fact that women of high intelligence tend to have fewer children than do women of lower intelligence. This negative association between I.Q. and fertility has been demonstrated time and again in research over the last century. Boy I hope Not Sure can fix this! Maybe we need more electrolytes.
Holy shit does that bone disease sound scary!
And don't hold your breath on drug decriminalization as long as hypocrite Harper and his fascist corrupt goons are still in office - which won't be too much longer at this rate. We were actually all set to decriminalize pot when this yoyo managed to squeak into office and kill it. Like most conservatives the guy is a walking anachronism that's entirely out of touch with the times.
And how could this be an extremely active hurricane season? I mean global warming is a myth, right? Derp! huh? I am not sure I agree with IQ vs fertility. I deal with people that have 7 kids from 7 dudes - it isn't about fertility, it is about having nothing else to do, no economic base, no job, and nothing to do but drink and F*ck. I dealt with a lady last night who has 7 kids, and one of them is acting out (weird) and she is threatening the kid who is 14 to go live with daad, who lives in Chicago and has 9 kids with 9 women. 16 kids between how many people, none of the 16 are fully related....16 kids who don't have a chance in hell to get out of the cycle... |

So no more Arcade or cheaper consoles like it was for the 360. One more reason to crack/hack that old xbox 360! |

I assume I got one of those blinding headaches that Blue described the other day. When I got home from work this AM, I lost partial view in my left eye, but I felt fine. It wasn't half or all or even an area that made sense. It was like if you held a banana with the tips up on the left and right in front of you, but only in my left eye. And those areas appeared to be reflecting a rainbow colored light that was blocking my vision between the lower third and lower two thirds of my left eye. I could see straight and under it though. Very spooky. Lasted about 15 minutes.
I had no pain during the episode. |

Didn't see this thread, so reposting.
They announced Kinet will be bundled with every console. The eye into your home!
Xbox One is a definite, wait 1.5 years and then see.
And, the biggest thing that will make me NOT buy it: Confirmed, Xbox One is NOT BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE!
/ha! A bunch of really bad info/bad press is coming out now that reveal is over, they are sharing a lot of stuff off camera. "Xbox One will not work unless Kinet is connected"
//"May have mandatory game installs" |

Beamer wrote on May 21, 2013, 14:23: Controller looks great. Name is really stupid. Sports stuff seems... pointless. DVR/Cable Box stuff seems like a godsend. Graphics are significantly better than anything out now, but I don't think we're ever going to be wowed by computer graphics anymore. The leaps and jumps are gone, because the technology is well into its lifespan instead of growing rapidly, and the changes any new technology allows is no longer a huge difference. Watching it now, it looks dumb as hell....why do they think everyone wants Kinect? I can see huge problems with all the background items running at the same time "go home, watch movie, etc"
I don't want it to "see my world", I don't want to watch tv with it, I don't want to exercise with it, I don't want to listen to music. I WANT TO PLAY GAMES!!!!!!
Partnering with EA scares the shit out of me.
I can see all of these features being a separate subscription. "NFL on Xbox" looks cool, but it looks expensive.

Fibrocyte wrote on May 19, 2013, 16:54: Don't Starve is good but... when you die you lose everything and that's very discouraging. I don't think they should change that, but perhaps up the survivability a little. I spent a lot of time exploring the game w/o reading anything online so I died when night came... and I died when sanity got too low and my hallucinations were attacking me... and I died when the hounds first came because that was very unexpected... and I died by freezing once because I thought I had a little more time to reach my campfire at base.
Now that I know most of what will kill me, it's stupid mistakes that end up getting me. For example, I was collecting manure and accidentally clicking a beefalo instead of the manure pile and the entire herd massacred me in 1/2 a nanosecond.
Still, the game is very neat and well done. I've also not touched Adventure mode, yet. That is what makes the game great and what makes games from NES great - the challenge. I remember waiting arund for my issue of Nintendo Power every month so I could find out if I was missing something cause I couldn't get past Game X point Y.
Dont Starve is a great game. |
