zirik wrote on Jun 4, 2011, 15:51: ok im a bit lost. was the world of exodus in the first game? i only remember that small planet that orbited the earth where aliens were processing the humans. and it didnt look like the one in the trailer. Yeah, not sure what this trailer has to do with Prey, but I definitely like the look. I hope the gameplay is good. |

The new MotionScan system used to capture actors' performances simply produces more convincing facial animation than we have ever seen in a game.
Couple that with the obsessive attention to detail for which Rockstar's existing games such as Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption are famed, and the end result rings true to a greater extent than anything that has gone before. The familiar need to suspend disbelief has been all but eliminated. Monday cannot get here soon enough!!!! |

Some may consider me an uncivilized troglodyte for this, but like I said last week, I want fun games more than any other type of game. Troglodytes enjoy fun games too! |

I don't want there to be only one For a guy that is always preaching healthy competition, he sure puts down Steam an awful lot.
you look at the technology Impulse adds and the resources GameStop has--well beyond Valve's Hmm, I don't know if that's true. Just last month it was reported and Steam has 50%-70% of the PC download market and that Valve is extremely profitable. In fact, I think Forbes was estimating Valve at $2-$4 billion... and with only 250 employees.
They also have a massive head start and good publisher support. Maybe Gamestop has more resources but I believe they have huge uphill battle in front of them. |
