What a lot of people don't know is that this "bug" isn't a bug at all, but rather an embarrassing result of the degenerative leg disease our motion capture actor, Del Bluskin, has bravely endured for over a decade now, which has turned the lower half of his skeleton into something that looks like two raw bacon strips held up in a wind tunnel.

George Lucas was on the Daily Show recently and John Stewart asked him why the new trilogy sucked (in a polite way). And Lucas brought up an interesting point.
He said that there is a generation (ours) that loved the original trilogy and hated the new one. Then there's a new generation that hasn't seen the old one but loves the new one. And there's a third generation that hasn't seen either generation and loves The Clone Wars animated series.
The point: this current generation of gamers knows only Halo and Modern Warfare and pay-for DLC, but knows nothing of how things were. So they just eat this crap up like it's going out of style.
Have you read some of the comments from that video thread? Kids were posting how they really liked the video and how it gives them a new perspective on the industry! Totally laughable.
It's probably time we just accept things the way they are; its not going back. |

Is the Company of Heroes pack worth it? For $12 you can't pass it up. I've been wanting to get an RTS.
And I know the game is old, but can anyone recommend Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends? A local store has it for $10 or $15 and I was thinking of picking it up. |

BioShock 2 is using a standard Games for Windows Live activation system
Fantastic. I think I'll just put up with the controls and get it for the PS3. I don't think the game will have enhanced graphics and a better HUD/controls for the PC. Plus all this GfWL crap gives me a headache. |

| Not really fair to judge this pre-alpha footage... but it did not look good. I got the impression they were going for a Mass Effect with Aliens feel. Should have labeled this a "third-person shooter". |

Enough with this nonsense. When I play console games, I like to lay on the cough or sit on the rocking chair. I don't need to be flailing my arms around like a monkey.
Just make another Age of Empires game already! |

I just hope it's good. I was really excited about the first one (why I bought a 360) but was disappointed. But I'm definitely getting this for the PC.
Is ME2 using that Games for Windows Live crap? |
