AAA RPG developers such as BioWare and Bethesda have been "experimenting" with this feature for the past decade.

Over Twitter and email. Here's an example. Pitchford also lied about the state of Borderlands PC before it was released as well. In fact his job title seems to be Executive Liar, he's one of the reasons I am a bit weary of anything Gearbox releases.
I don't know what is it about that guy, but I can't stand him, especially for the PC screw-up of Borderlands. I've seen a few interviews with him and the guy comes off like a "Delta Bravo". |

Did you guys even watch it? It's a screen full of E3 badges, shitty jump cuts and someone hitting their Fuzzometer sound effect pack at high volumes.
Regardless... it looks waaaaaay better than Modern Warfare 3. |

| At times the textures looked really good; other times, they looked blurry and a bit muddy, especially when up-close. Still, it looks like it will satisfy that Borderlands hunger. |
