I agree with Shane 100%.
They do the game they want to.
Besides, they've said in past interviews, that the investment in a game like DOOM3 is too high and there are no big risks to take. That means, to potentially ruin the game with any gameplay gimmicks.
As someone said before, DOOM3 is mainly about running inside the space station, not outside in the hills and desert islands. I do like vehicles, i think Battlefield 1942 is a great game, but thats multiplayer!

Thats all you keep saying... your world?
Guess what, your world is dying but the rest of OUR WORLD is still spinning.
Stuff like that happens. In fact it happened in my country this summer. Most forests were burned down to ashes. Houses were destroyed. People died. It was like the entire country was burning. For weeks and weeks that was all we could watch on the news.
But you dont see me bitching do you.
