We all know that UT2k4 was the first game to ever use veh... oh wait.
Well, UT2k4 was the first game to have capture the fl... um, nevermind.
OH! UT2k4 was the first game to use strategic resources and multiple player cla... huh. UT doesn't have those.
So how is T:V stealing anything from UT again?

I also miss the defense-oriented gameplay of Tribes 2, but I'm still loving Tribes: Vengeance. I didn't expect it to be like T2. It feels a more claustraphobic, though. Hopefully there will be some larger maps in the final version.
That being said, I also couldn't wait and gave into the dark side  , but now I'll be able to play the game for a week until I have to go back to college  |

Dueling in a teambased game might be fun but it isnt a rule of any kind. Not to mention that people dueling are of no use whatsoever to their team. I sure as hell wouldn't want someone preferring 1-on-1 on my team, let alone respect his grudge against someone else. |

Well f-me, I guess these turds are gonna force me to join the Fileplanet collective. My mistake, it's the Rome: Total War demo that's hitting on monday. Don't give in to the Fileborg just yet. |

What about the open beta? Shouldn't they wait for the results of this testing-phase before going gold? The open beta is supposed to hit Fileplanet on monday. "Near gold" in developer-speak means "a couple weeks, maybe". The game's been in development for years now. You're reading far too into this. |

As the devs have said, major changes now are like stopping a freight train. It's too bad the open beta didn't happen during E3 when fans could have voiced their opinion. You know that it's the Tribes community when the whining about changes starts before the public testing. |

| Hero is probably one of my favorite martial arts films of all time. It doesn't rely on wire-fu nearly as much as Iron Monkey and Crouching Tiger, and especially stays true to the historical detail of ancient china (the importance of caligraphy of confucian education in particular), while still being a great action movie. |
