I guess I see anti-hero stuff more because my Modern American Lit teacher really pounded the concept into our heads when we read Catch 22 for class And I don't know if it was the intention or anything, but it does remind me alot of the way Yossarian would act. Shown by such quotes on the website as:
when the hell am I going to be left in peace He only has one motivating desire: to survive. Psychological profile: he is at breaking point… It seems to fit into that catagory mostly because in a war fiction setting, there seem to be about five types of characters: fearful, patriotic, manipulative, indignant, and apathetic. From the way they talk about Weasel, he seems to be the fifth. He doesn't seem to care about the war, he just wants out of it. But he can't get out of it because he's so good at killing things, which he does only to survive. (Huh. Sounds like a catch 22 :))
Although if you want funny, read about the rest of the characters under "Pawns on the chessboard". I can't wait to see what happens with the trigger-happy manic depressive.

Trent Reznor isn't dark OR disturbed, at least not anymore. Listen to some RECENT music. I also don't remember him ever having a son.

Luka, how can you say they're good at multiplayer? Quake III had the most shallow gameplay of any MP game on the market at that time and today.
And why would they give a crap about putting really good netcode into a single player game when they've already licensed the engine to Raven for Quake 4?

Don't they? As a company, every single employee is "overhead", as a consumer, I am "profit". They owe "me" everything. Not quite. As a "development" company, they work for the "publisher". As a "subsidiary" of the "publisher", they do not deal directly with the "customers". With "freelance" development companies, they're "contracted". They rarely deal directly with the actual "money" from the game. They get paid a regular salary. The publisher is their client. They can get royalties, but that's about 10% of what they actually get paid. It's the publisher that owes you something. Saying a developer owes you something is like saying that the cement mixer of the company that was hired by the company you work for to construct the building you work in owes you something. You can only consume the product of the producer.

I'd like to know exactally how they think they can compete on the PC market with games like Breed coming out. And I think Planetside goes without mentioning.

The game wasn't even about Hitler. And how the hell would killing hitler be more realistic than Rob Zombie?
For the record, Wolf 3D's end boss was HItler. I believe he was wearing a large mechanical suit, too.

Multiplayer gaming as a whole is full of morons and assholes. Did you expect something magically different playing RtCW?

I know you were probably kidding, but most of the areas will be dim since they want to accomidate sneaking... and I think the AI notices shadows.
