I don't know why you guys complain about everything. I for one am glad for the notice. My theory is that it's because of how the gaming business contrasts with other tech businesses. While today's telecom and computer businesses have the goal of getting everything to the consumer on-demand (cell phones -> caller id -> text messaging,etc), game development attempts to put quality over speed. Of course we're all on computers, looking at games, playing games, and as hardcore gamers get into being informed of game development, it's like a brick wall to them. They get everything NOW, except the games they're anticipating. They want games NOW, too. They get upset because such a thing isn't realistic, so they pin the blame on the development teams in a fit of denial.

There has never been an exact release date for the demo, whatsoever. Guesses and estimates aren't release dates.
If you want to prove me wrong, show me where anyone from Epic has posted an exact release. |

I really should gather up all my old games and ebay them. Even if I get $10 its better than nothing. Got a copy of System Shock 2? It seems that they just discontinued it (it was in budget version, so I don't think there's hope of them putting it back into production), and I never got a chance to buy a copy. |

Actually, NWN was made with primarily multiplayer and player-made content in mind. The SP campaign was tossed in last, and they didn't get a lot of time to do it the way they wanted.
For the entire development they said that it wouldn't be Baulder's Gate III. But I guess people still expected BG3.
The game was designed with primarily DM games in mind. The gameplay in the SP/Co-op game reflects that. |

| I definitely see where Blue is coming from. A good example is PC Gamer and their coverage of AO. I sincerely doubt that they'd be giving even a glance at it (as no one else is), if they didn't have two players of it on the staff. |

BMX, skateboarding, and snowboarding, all take physical prowess to succeed at. You can be an overweight slob paralyzed from the waist down, and still be good at CS.
I never have understood the need that gamers and many publishers/developers feel to integrate gaming into OTHER forms of entertainment. Gaming can very well stand up on its own without using the crutch of pop culture.
