Why would anyone still use Win98, when Win2k has been out for four years?
This is what people get for trying to be all "hardcore" and pointlessly stubborn.

Is that a quote, or your own opinion? With the exception of MP level design, CoD is better than MoH:AA, but I wasn't aware of anyone having played BiA. The screenshots look great but so did Chrome's. I believe they had a playable version at E3 this year. |

So if id and Creative just inked a deal for EAX HD, what are they using for sound right now? DirectSound3D? EAX1? EAX Advanced HD isn't a sequel of EAX. You're thinking of EAX 2 or 3. EAXAHD is a series of special speaker effects introduced with the Audigy that gives extra nifty realism effects to sound in how they interact with the environment. The only other game that comes to mind that had AHD before was Jedi Knight II, and that was patched in.

George said this new SW would be much heavier and darker than the last two (ye gods let's hope so). I want to see Darth Vader laying some serious smack down, force killing people galore and slicing and dicing like it's going out of style. They will. But they'll be doing the slicing with walkie talkies. |

Celebrities playing video games isn't a surprising news item for a video game webpage. Yes, that's right. Pornstars count as celebrities now. Welcome to the 21st century. |

And really, I fail to see why anyone would consider Troy so bad I personally didn't like a lot of the dialog. Sounded too modern for my tastes. The battle scenes were great, though. And Erik Bana was a good Hector. |

But big outdoor maps using JETPACKS are. What's the point of having a big outdoor map if you're still stuck on one level? It's just an indoor map without a roof. |

You can't really be neutral on the sbject of the Holocaust. If you were part of the German army, its quite clear that you were a supported of the Nazi regime and their actions against the Jews. All German men of eligible age were conscripted into the German military. And even if they weren't your argument would still be silly. Does every american soldier support the Republican party, simply because the president is Republican? |

I challenge you to find 10 people who identify themselves with their continent before their country. (I'd say 1 person, but there are some weirdos out there Europeans, Australians, South Americans. |

Falsehood. How? You've yet to name a single thing that Lucasarts does for content control that WotC doesn't.
Lucasarts was responsible for the content of KOTOR, in conception, editing and execution. Name what parts they created.
Without Lucasarts, KOTOR's plot and dialogue would have been on the level of Baldur's Gate - IOW, bad. Outright lie. The entire story and dialogue for the game was written by the Writing team at Bioware. David Gaider, Drew Karpyshyn, Luke Kristjanson, and Peter Thomas were awarded a GDC award for Writing on the game just the other day. |

Because the credits say so, right? Wise up. What part of the credits are wrong? Last I checked, you don't have a Developer's account here. Am I supposed to just trust that you "worked at Lucasarts" at some point time and are therefore an expert on a game that wasn't even developed there? |

You're not understanding, or you're being intentionally obtuse. It doesn't matter what the credits say, Lucasarts controls every Star Wars licensed game from top to bottom, and Lucas controls every Star Wars licensed property in a similar manner. And that's still IRRELEVANT. All creative content in KotOR besides the background of Star Wars was created by Bioware. Every line of text and dialog, every bit of the story, every piece of art... was created by the canucks at Bioware. Therefore, your argument that "Lucasarts came up with the content" is FALSE.
If you still don't understand, just think of it this way: if you subtracted Lucasarts from the equation, KOTOR would have been a completely different game in every sense of plot, structure, character and setting. You mean if they took STAR WARS out of the equation. Not Lucasarts. Once again, all content of the game except the backdrop was made by Bioware employees. |
