"Hey moron, you ever look up the word "crack" in the dictionary? It usually means "to break" or "damage". Try to expand your perspective a bit you fucking retard."
Apparently, Azraelot's reply to you in #6 was clear to everyone but yourself. Consider removing your head from your ass before hitting the "post with login" button next time. Shitwit.

"No, because the people who showed no improvement in cholesterol levels were on the same diet. That's the whole point of putting them on the controlled diet: to make sure it's the tea..."
Ahhh. Ok, That makes sense. Forgot the "non-improvers" were on same diet. Thanks.

Drinking tea... |

"The study controlled the diets of the participants by supplying them with their daily meals."
Couldn't this, by itself, be the reason for the improvements in cholesterol levels?

The title reminds of when I would get online (Quakeworld, Diablo...) with the most stupid name I could think of, like BludGodofDeth, or UnholyBludDrinker, or Fletch.... errmm

Quick to post? He replied 11 minutes after you posted. You, however, posted 4 minutes after XtG did. Sounds like your life is sitting in front of daddy's computer hitting refresh.
Oh shit, I think I've just been trolled.

Silent water pump |

Water-cooling for PCs... imagine that.
This Red October osmosis thingy sounds like a neat trick, but aren't current methods of moving water silent enough? Yeah, the "no moving parts" aspect may be a selling point as there is nothing to wear out, but the super-small tube diameter is just begging to get clogged, IMHO.

Bluesnews has been my homepage for YEARS. I've seen the ads get more and more intrusive, but no where close to what some other sites have (sites I no longer visit because of it). "Intrusive" is a relative word here, as Bluesnews in the past has been largely ad-free and has only very slowly, IMHO, introduced them.
Anyhoo, I have never paid for access to a site. I would, however, be willing to shell out a few bucks a month for Bluesnews. I agree with JM (#82) though. The site would not only have to be relatively ad-free, but some premium features made available to subscribers, such as the ability to filter.

One of the worst reviews I've read in a while. Short, poor sentence syntax, unnecessary use of "other" (twice, that I recall), wishy-washy, and no real-world observations on performance or visual quality. Most, if not all, comments seem to be made on the monitor's listed specifications, and not on anything observed first-hand. They did, however, mention this about the frame:
"Mainly all monitors have a similar framing around the viewing area which has the potential of being distressful to the eyes."
Huh? Don't these sites have EDITORS? Too many "technical" and "hardware" sites out there posting dross written by kiddies and technically-illiterate posers.

That's not trolling? Do you know what "trolling" is? Break out that spanking-new copy of "Internet for Dummies" that mommy bought you and look it up. Playing the "not feeding the trolls" card has long been used by l33t 'n3t d00dz such as yourself to try and save face.
Oops! Too late.

"I haven't seen you even mention anything remotely about the game yet."
Then you haven't read my posts. I am well aware of what the topic is. The fact I chose to ignore it for a couple posts (and parts of others) doesn't mean I didn't read it. Also, I didn't steer the topic into a new direction, just replied to other posts. Asking you to understand such a simple concept may be a stretch, but trying to fully explain it to you would require several more off-topic posts. I will point out to you, however, that exactly HALF of your posts to this thread thus far are off-topic. Feeling "challenged"?
"If I had known, that this was your case then I would have never read your posts."
You read all my posts? And when exactly did you realize... err.. whatever it was you realized about me? After the first one? The second? The fifth? When did you decide that you shouldn't have read further? Yet, you kept on reading. Like rubbing your tongue over a sore tooth. It hurts, but you still do it.
DR got a slight dressing down because he deserved it. It's that simple. He got what he was dishing out, and maybe a little more.

"Still haven't seen anything out of you except hot air, Fletch."
Then you need to brush up on your reading skills. I asked some very direct and simple questions of you in the earlier posts for which you have failed to or chosen not to respond. Your silence only proves to me what reading your posts made me suspect; you are a bullshitter who is more than willing to spew said bullshit in the hopes it won't be called, especially if it's in defense of the thing that sets your fanboy heart all aflutter... Halo.
Your responses are getting shorter and shorter. Are you running out of things to say, Shitwit? I'm not. Answer the questions I asked earlier, if you can. You won't though, because your nothing but a clueless poser.
Now go get your jammies on and brush your teeth. It's past your bedtime.

"Can we change the thread title to "Bitch About Halo PC"? I see no Q&A."
If you want to read the Q&A, you can follow the link to the Q&A article that is in the blurb.
Although many of the threads here often wander off-topic, Halo is a topic of special interest to many avid pc gamers who were looking forward to an awesome new game, only to be dissappointed for reasons everybody except DR seems to understand. I personally don't feel the need to express my ire at Microsoft/Bungie in a public forum, but rather speak with my wallet and not buy the damn thing. Unfortunately, in my casual reading of this site and the various threads it generates, I came across the dolt that is DR and decided to administer some due flammage.
Anyway, if you wish to steer the direction of this thread to something more on-topic, I'm sure there are many out there who would like to answer any questions you may have about the game or read remarks you have about the article. We're not ALL Halo-Haters (but I am)

"Wow Fletch. If you put as much thought into your replies as you do into your flames, you might... still sound like a pissed off three year old."
Thank you for the compliment, but I don't have to put much thought into my flames either. They come naturally and easily, especially when the intended target is so ripe and practically begging for them. You, on the other hand, really should put more thought into your flames. You are... not good at it.
I picked your idiotic posts apart point by point and all you can do is tell me I sound like a "pissed off three year old"? Technical: 5. Artistic: 5 (an ellipse... nice work!). Originality: 0. Wow, I haven't seen scores this low since fredster. A sure sign that your bullshit has been called and steamrolled.
C'mon DR, try harder.

"I love reading your guys comments. You act like microsoft really cares if a few elitist gamers from a forum don't buy a game they've already made crap loads of money off of."
I'm an "elitist" because I don't wish to buy a game? I suppose you own every game in existence, so as not to earn "elitist" status. Will I be accepted back into your "common" world if I DO buy it? Oh please, PLEASE say you'll take me back!

"Gryph, I think that's the first logical reason I've heard why not to play the PC version of Halo. It actually makes SENSE, as opposed to all the other "XBox/Halo/Microsoft sucks" and "HL2/Doom3 is better" whining that has been going on in these threads. I applaud you."
Congratulations Gryphin!! DR applauds you! Printscreen and frame! Never forget this moment!
Personnally, I'm just happy something finally "makes sense" to DR. His version of reality doesn't allow a lot of "sense" past that wall of ignorance. You see, DR is... "special". Upon first reading his posts, I thought he was just an asocial nub, but now I realize he is just one of our "special" citizens. It's good to see him reaching out to "normal" society like this by posting to Bluesnews. It's good therapy. Take this into consideration when reading his posts and be patient with him. He can't always help himself, and his responses don't originate from the same world of reality that the rest of us live in.
Here DR, have a juice box and an Oreo. Run along and play now.

"I'm not calling THAT a lie, I'm calling his statement that he'd buy Halo over HL2 if they hadn't gone XBox first a lie."
Huh? But that wasn't what you quoted, DR. Let's just say you ARE a shitwit and just mis-cut-and-pasted...
Do you really have the "knowledge and cred" to know what SirOvenMitt would or wouldn't buy had he only $50? Are you so obsessed with Halo that you can't believe it possible that someone wouldn't choose it over any other game? There are LOTS of us that feel the same way. My harddrive will NEVER see Halo, 1 or 2. I'll live.
DR, it's obvious now that you are one of PSU's "special" students who has simply wandered away from daycare and found a library somewhere. Stay there! I'll call the authorities. A nice policeman will be there soon to take you back home to mommy.
