What the hell, really? Looks like I will be ignoring this game.

It's a one-time thing just to get the free bonus items. I don't see the big deal. You have to log into GoG to buy the game, don't you? You have to log into GoG to download the game, don't you? And with Galaxy, you have to log into GoG to install the game, don't you? Why is logging in (once) to receive the bonus items such a big deal?

I think the whole PCMR sucks ass, frankly. I go where the fun games are, and don't limit myself to one platform.

There are no fun console games.

basically, these guys thought they were genius (like most "artists")... nobody gives a shit, and suddenly they dont feel like genius anymore - and thus, "WAAAAAHH!" but in this very particular way

stereotypical artist response, really... they should move into the fine art world, where you can easily sell complete bullshit for 100K+

It must be really miserable to be you.

irony - a state of affairs or an event that seems deliberately contrary to what one expects and is often amusing as a result.

Made me LOL.

Oh.
My.
God.

Fanboys: SHUT THE FUCK UP.

If you like the game (probably because you're a boring and shitty example of humanity), then play it. Clearly, spouting all your bullshit opinions based upon--and exhibiting--your ADD and complete lack of skill/skill/skill is not going to change the minds of all the people who have legitimate issues with the PC version of this game.

Are there pluses? Of course there are. Could you conceive a better game? Well... I mean... you're defending this game like your very existence is intractably linked to it, so, probably not. The faults that it has are massive detractors from the overall experience, and they're largely issues that could have been avoided with a little more effort during development. That said, it's quite easily among the buggiest, bloated, and disappointing PC games to be released since Thief4. The amount of content, quality, amazing writing, and stellar gameplay presented here is extraordinarily difficult to access behind a maddening wall of consolization, and all you fucking little fanboys defending things just because you have nothing even remotely critical to say need to examine your life and figure out why in the fuck you're such ass-kissing, milquetoast wimps. I paid 50 bucks for it, so I get to bitch about it. And Mac and his awesome Worth-A-Buy review both get a thumbs up from me, because his criticisms and disappointments with the game were almost exactly mine.

If you want to only read positive things about this game, start your own website and make your own rules. Have a lovely day!

Not interested. Online required DRM is a deal-breaker. Then again... Witcher3 taught me that developers who support DRM-free releases don't necessarily give a shit about PC gamers, and are just fine releasing buggy console crapola as a PC game. CDPR, you don't get any more of my money, either.

Imagine that... a PC version of a multi-platform game gets dumbed-down and degraded to console levels.

What they fail to understand is that PC gamers (like me) would not have bought the game if they presented it truthfully as yet another shit console port. So, their statement that the game wouldn't have existed without the console concessions is just meaningless spin with a dash of hubris, as if PC gamers should just be happy the game exists at all, even if it sucks ass.

I know this sounds far fetched, but give it a go, it takes two minutes to vacum cleane the fan/cooler at least.

I take mine out onto the patio and hit it with a leaf blower. I've worked on enough of my friend's computers to know that heatsinks and fans clogged with dust and hair is the culprit more than one might think. It's not far-fetched at all. Lots of people treat their computers like they treat their toasters. They just want to turn it on and have it work. They don't consider that it needs some minimum level of maintenance, and you should empty the crumb tray once in a while.

Well, I was going to hold off buying this until I saw some LPs and it came down in price (which will probably not happen for a while). I'm also not a fan of the player perspective, but, damn if I wasn't persuaded to buy it and preload it after watching this.

Why do you even bother with these Conan shill pieces? It's no secret he's paid $10's of $1000s for these shill segments.

I guess he must do his regular show for free, huh? How can anyone think he's funny when he's obviously getting paid?

Part of the value of games like Skyrim are the large number of high-quality, free mods available.
"We wanted more great mods becoming great products..."
...that produce more revenue streams for Valve. We think 75% is fair.

I still play Doom and DoomII about once a year. Try to keep it as vanilla as possible (no look up and down, no jumping, etc.) for that old Doom experience I remember. Still as fun as it was in the old days. I fuckin' love Doom.

Never tried Doom Retro, but I'm digging it so far.

Awww... I thought I was going to be able to make my own misspelled signs, rant about shit I know nothing about, vote for white imbeciles who tell me they will do absolutely nothing for me, make some hardtack for the coming zombie apocalypse, and treasure hunt for .22lr at the local Walmart.

Anyhoo, where the hell is my Polly Prissypants?

They also have a clause stating "Mods must be distributed for free, period." Shouldn't the internet at large be kissing their feet today?Oh, my bad, I forgot positive things are completely uninteresting to the PC gaming community.

Maybe the PC gaming community is playing the game and hasn't read yet another lengthy EULA yet. And the "internet at large" is hardly the same as the "PC gaming community". Sheesh... false cause fallacy much?

Edit: Or, were you just being cheeky?
