Cool on the one hand, but iOS and Android? I fear a horrible PC UI that will make Metro look suave...

Creston

It's a 2d adventure game. How horrible could it be?

Wipeout HD/Fury were the best, most well rounded of the entire series, and butter smooth as usual. How many games run (most of the time) at 60 FPS 1080p on PS3? [...]

While I did enjoy Wipeout HD, this isn't "exactly" accurate. While the game does do 1080p, it uses a scaling system that downgrades the internal resolution of the game to achieve 60fps when it starts to detect slowdown.

Also, anyone else pissed when their system was connected online and they'd play Honda commercials before it would let you into a level?

Five Guys is damned good for fast food burgers. Of course they aren't as good as home-cooked burgers. Do you really think a teenager can make a burger better than you? That's not really the point.

Their fries aren't very good, imo. I'd rather just eat peanuts. But, grilled onions are a huge win in my book. I wish there was one closer than an hour away from me, but that's probably for the better as I'm fat enough as it is.

I still prefer Red Robin for chain restaurant burgers, though(just not for the price).

This press release needs a *spoiler alert* for those people who haven't finished the first game(especially if you just got it on sale).

Wow. Just...wow.

I'm curious, though. What was a baby doing at a movie theatre, let alone at the midnight showing?

12. TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman is loving Michael Bay's movie - will fans Jul 19, 2012, 12:05 Hyatus

Probably not.
I tend to believe that most fans love the 80s show and have never read the comic. Different ballgame.

Also, this praise is coming from the guy who brought us Heavy Metal 2000: My Pornstar Wife is Really an Actress.

[...]he seems like nothing more than a smart mouthed merc with a gun and sword, who seemed to have a knack for making improbable escapes from deadly situations,

Which is what makes him fun, imo. I mean, it's comics. People long dead come back to life all of the time. Escaping from certain death via improbable means is half of that fun.

who was created as a throw away foe for Wolverine. I seem to remember he was a temp foe meant to replace Sabertooth (who was half dead or something from having adamantium ripped out of his bones)

He was a foe for X-Force(Cable and about half of the New Mutants). And it was Wolverine who had the adamantium ripped out of his bones.

[... also vaguely remember them mentioning he had a healing factor based on mutated cancer cells or something, but it's been a while, so I might be wrong.

He had tumors which accelerated their growth when he was injected with the mutant healing factor(Possibly from Wolverine's cells?).

And how do you know this isn't based on the 1988 Clint Eastwood movie?

I just watched that last week. I love the Jim Carrey "overdose" scene right after he lip-syncs to Guns N' Roses. The band(minus Axl, of course) makes an appearance later in the film.

Somebody should make a Dirty Harry game.

Anyways, yay Deadpool!

You can also use your wireless ps3 controller as a wired controller via USB. There's some drivers somewhere to do that and then use x360ce to map the controls correctly.

I think the answer is to make clever commercials people will want to watch. Like super bowl halftime ads.

So the answer is to make clever commercials for you to skip over?

All the Battlefront games were slapped together. It still pisses me off to no end that LucasArts sicked their dogs on the team making a Star Wars mod for Battlefield just to release this total turd of a series.

Well, to each their own. I, on the other hand, enjoyed the series(the non-portable ones anyways). I was stoked about the third game.

No one uses Media Player to watch DVDs is the reasoning. Microsoft has the telemetry to prove it. Never mind the fact that most OEM's have included DVD playback software for years.

Exactly this. The only time WMP gets used is when some file-type association hasn't been changed from my OS install.

Virgin Mobile has terrible coverage outside of major cities. Sure, their service is provided by Sprint, but they don't roam.

Not that I don't agree that people can be a little sensitive(sometimes) to the DRM issue, but 1997?

I don't think DRM has been a games issue for that long. I would say Windows XP release, sure. But not when everyone was slinging around Windows 95 and a dial-up connection.
