Actually, there's this insanely huge set of sounds that
quite a few moviehouses and gamedevs use. The name eludes
me at the moment. I'm pretty sure there are licensing fees
involved with it.

17. A Woman’s Guide on How to Pee Standing. Dec 10, 2002, 14:51 Hyatus

Wow...for at least til direction #4(w/o device) and all
through the commentary at the bottom, I was pretty turned
on! Thanks Blue! ~,^

And that Eeeek!! link seems fake.
Granted, it's POSSIBLE, but the lack of consistency through
the pictures leaves some doubt. Not to mention why a snake
would want to crawl inside the thing in the first place or
how it got in the damned thing and why it felt the need to
stay in such an obviously cramped position.

Scorched Earth took up many MANY hours of my time years
ago(and still a little bit every now and then).
I can't wait for the new 3d version.
w00t, I say! w00t!

A great article like the Temple of Elemental Evil module
getting its own game from the Arcanum guys and you talk about a Suicide Bomber game???

*sigh*
And that Gaming Theatre looks pretty kickass!
I want one...*sniff sniff*

I agree.
Total dream job.
Not only is it design and layout of maps(which is fun),
but design and layout of maps(which is fun) for Black Isle
RPGs(some of the best ever(not that I need to state that)).

*sigh*
Well...back to reality...

4. NFL...bah... Dec 4, 2002, 15:16 Hyatus

My favorite football games had nothing to do with the NFL.
Super High Impact was(and is) still infinitely better than
Blitz(an opinion, obviously(and not to mention that I find
Blitz to be pretty damned fun)).

Pigskin Footbrawl was (dare I say the word...) HELLA fun
(also still is).

And the granddaddy of all cross-genre sports titles, "Mutant
League Football"(well, and the uber-fun ML Hockey) to which
I am STILL waiting for an all-new kickass 3d version of.

Midway, sack the NFL. Do your own thing.

Who in the hell buys their games at Wal-Mart?

27. alas... Dec 2, 2002, 14:09 Hyatus

Unfortunately, I only saw the first few episodes of the
Sopranos this season. I missed episode 5, I believe and
then I just couldn't watch the rest of the series(I gotta
watch it all in order).

Seemed to be starting pretty good.
However, I feel like gunning down everyone who mentioned
the Tony and Ralphie spoiler. Some people don't have HBO
and actually watch the DVDs you know.

Grrr...

I already pay too much to AT&T with their crap upload and
download caps. If they started using this system, I think
I'd decide to cancel their service. Then I'd go take a
walk. Then look at DSL prices.

I'd rather be sucking down files at 2k/sec than have to
wait for the next few hundred people to download what they
want.

4. eh... Nov 26, 2002, 12:24 Hyatus

I played this game at a LAN party the other day.
It was kind of fun, but not worth $45-$50.

UT was awesome, tho...Assault is one of the greatest game-
types I've played for an FPS.

Oh, and that Bombing Run gametype was pretty fun/hectic.

No, not imports.
However, I'm sure there are homebrew games being made for
the system.

Look at the Dreamcast and GBA. There are quite a few home-
brews for those.

I know, this is f'in NUTS!

'Examples he cited were: sudden and large cash withdrawals, one-way air or rail travel, rental car transactions and purchases of firearms, chemicals or agents that could be used to produce biological or chemical weapons.'

I think we might need better protection with the last three
(firearms on), but the first handful of examples are just
stupid.

'"I find it somewhat counter intuitive that people are not concerned that telemarketers and insurance companies can acquire this data but feel tremendous trepidation if a government ventures into this arena. To me it just smacks of paranoia.'

Telemarketers don't have any effect on our daily lives(well,
except for stupid phone calls). How about a little less
'crime prevention legislation' and a bit more 'finding the
criminals who've already broken the laws'?

Like we all don't know there's a certain amount of danger
when we step out of our doors everyday.

5. Re: ermm... Nov 21, 2002, 16:52 Hyatus

Yes, LOTR is a nerd movie.
I'm fairly sure that 68% of the profits came from nerds and
chicks with bishounen fetishes. And we all know that chicks
with bishounen fetishes have the internet. And you can't
have the internet and not of been able to hear about
Warcraft III.

*blink blink*

Hasn't this game been out for almost 6 months?
They're playing these trailers at nerd movies(James Bond
being the exception, but who in the hell wants to see a
non-Connery/non-Moore James Bond film?). Don't most of
us nerd/geek/'computer-enthusiast' types know about this
game by now?
