I did it. I'll buy most games for $5. Audiosurf is kinda meh, but BG&E is fun(have it for PS2). I sure hope the original team for BG&E is getting a cut.

I don't think this will really hurt anything. At least they're giving more options.
One of the biggest problems with this game is the lack of options for map-makers. TF1 and TFC had way more flexibility than TF2 does in that arena(no pun intended...well, maybe a hair intended).
Besides, this isn't nearly as lame as the ridiculous amount of servers that play the surf maps.

Does that figure from Microsoft include DLC games?
I'd like to think that the Wii sells more Virtual Console games than MS sells their games. That would make sense. Otherwise, Nintendo's just blowing this "most third-party games" thing out their ass.

While I agree that this isn't spectacular and probably won't "save the industry", I also agree with Carmack's assessment on all the crap games that are nothing more than fairly unimpressive tech demos.

Just because it's a gimmick doesn't mean it's not a fun one.
The only problem for the wii is that 99% of the non-Nintendo-made games apparently can't properly utilize the controllers. Well, alright, I'll concede the "Next-Gen" graphics are barely above the Gamecube's.
The real gimmick, I think, is the Virtual Console part of the system. Wtf? $5 for an NES game? No thanks. You can pick them up at used game stores for a buck with the advantage of being able to use the controller the game was made for. Same with the SNES and SEGA games(still have my old SMS with lightgun).

The Heavy has one use...standing there and shooting while being healed via medic/supply. It's a tough class to add anything to. It's essentially a moving sentry gun without the missiles.
However, why these class pack ideas weren't at least 75% thought out for each character is beyond me.
At least they're still trying to improve their game, which if you ask me, was already pretty darned good to begin with(my only big complaint is the number of maps shipped in-box).

I am so sick of hearing about this girl. She's dead. It sucks. Those people were asses. Welcome to the USA. "Cyberbullying" is ridiculous. If she was so unstable she should have been either monitored or shut off completely from the internet. I hope this bill gets struck down.
