Oh god. I predict in two years we'll start getting announcements that look like this:

THQ & Mountain Dew [December 21,2010,3:04pm ET]

THQ Selects Pepsi's Mountain Dew for Use in Its Worldwide Studios' vending machines has word of another vending win for Pepsi and its KeepingProgrammersAwakeForCrunchTimeXZZ technology, saying simply that THQ "has selected Pepsi KeepingProgrammersAwakeForCrunchTimeXZZ technology for use by its studios worldwide." The rest of the press release recaps Pepsi's view of what makes Mountain Dew so great, along with a quote from THQ's Head Janitor, Feisty McSchneygleBuns: "Mountain Dew is good."

I really hate using this word, seriously. I get annoyed by all the freaking WoW players who use it in daily life. Even still, the word exists and sometimes is the only applicable choice for a given situation.

Without further ado,

Ninja > Pirate = Epic(even if just for the ending)

Just curious. Is that list "completed" downloads or torrent file downloads? And where is that from?

and the endlessly repetitive subway environments are just ridiculous. Did they just run out of time to create unique areas or what?

Maybe. It is, supposedly though, a pretty good remake of the DC subway system.

How survival horror evolved itself into extinction.

So, this guy's main argument is that people won't want to play an older-style survival horror game because RE4, which he admits is not survival horror, has changed what survival horror is supposed to be about to newcomers?

My mind has either been blown or just shut itself down trying to understand the point, here.

They could've made a squad-based game(ala Saw II&V) with multiplayer co-op that had trap minigames. That would've been fun and accessible to the Saw crowd.

But yeah, not NEEAAARRLY as fun as playing Jigsaw and coming up with ironic "games" for bad people to play.

This doesn't make any sense. HL was pirated to hell and back. HOW CAN IT BE THE BEST-SELLING VALVE GAME OF ALL TIME?!?!

Because it had a great multiplayer experience that required a cd-key.

3. Re: EA Acquires J2M Dec 3, 2008, 11:31 Hyatus

What is EA using for money?

Well, you know all those poor developers they swallowed up and canned after they released or cancelled the game they were working on?

They turned them all into microtransactions. You can buy developer body parts on The Black Market(tm). They run $2.99 for arms/legs/various other appendages, $5.99 for main parts(torso/head) or $19.99 for the whole developer.

Sometimes they also run specials on QA Testers(1/2 price).

Since these microtransactions have worked so splendidly, EA can now start purchasing international developers. The great thing is that asian body parts are fully interchangable with their local counterparts.

Ugh. I still think the driving was 100x more fun in the previous GTA games. It's painful to drive in IV.

It hasn't crashed on me since I stopped using the radio, which kinda sucks 'cause I dig the background noise. Before that, it would seem to crash every 15-20 minutes.
