They should have gone the route of Torchlight, make a small and relatively simple game first on a low budget and see how the studio/team works and then aim higher.
Schilling was and is a huge MMO fan and 38 Studios was explicitly founded to make an MMO. |

I can't believe you guys are taking this seriously.
For example, Runic remarks about the cat, "Know what we love? Kittehs. Kittehs are now up in your Torchlight II, carryin' yer lootz. This tabby may look like an innocent lap-warmer, but get her into battle and the fur starts to fly. Rowr!"

This is Sony trying to manufacture interest in the Move.
No one told people to use Kinect with their PC. In fact, Microsoft tried to discourage it - then changed their mind when they saw what people were doing with it.
If no one was using the Wii remote with the PC, why would they want to do the Move? There's nothing that exciting about a glorified light gun. |
